I posted a message to chegirl and then it disappeared! I thought it was just me that couldn't see it. I hope I haven't killed it in some odd way.

Bettymum Thu 29-Oct-09 11:47:36

Rtuff, I have posted a message on site stuff to see if HQ can find the thread.

dani87 Thu 29-Oct-09 13:56:22

i was just trying to find it and catch up as havent been on for a while and its gone! hmm

C1NDY Thu 29-Oct-09 14:16:20

I think they may be deleting a message on the thread and have removed it. Not sure if it will come back

dani87 Thu 29-Oct-09 18:07:15

hey c1ndy why would they be deleting a message on there? whats been going on while been away?!?!

lineky Thu 29-Oct-09 18:18:59

ThisPhantomPlopsPumpkins Thu 29-Oct-09 18:34:38

Rtuff Thu 29-Oct-09 18:41:46

No it didn't kick off, I think it was just a swine flu vaccine opinion that dollshouse wanted retracted.

Do you think we'll get it back? Any word from HQ?

nicnacinoonoo Thu 29-Oct-09 19:59:46

phew i thought it was just me that couldnt find it. hope it comes back soon

Toady Thu 29-Oct-09 21:08:59

Neeko Thu 29-Oct-09 21:33:46

Hi all. That was weird. Hope everyone manages to find our new thread and you're all ok.

tostaky Thu 29-Oct-09 22:21:12

Since there are a lots of us pregnant with number 2, can i ask what are you plans re: pushchair... I went to mothercare at lunch time to look at the phil & ted and it is £460 hmm not sure i can justify that expense...
Ebay seems to be a much better option...

nicnacinoonoo Fri 30-Oct-09 07:53:12

my ds is 3 and a half, so just going to use his old pram. may get a buggy board for it if he wants 1 and it doesnt get in the way.
i agree that ebay is a much better option you can get great bargains on there, especially if you find 1 near you that is pick up only as obviously only people in that area will be bidding.

Bettymum Fri 30-Oct-09 10:13:19

I wonder if HQ has deleted the thread instead of just dollshouse's post? They haven't replied to my message on site stuff.

Re buggies, I'm going to try and get away with a buggy board, or a sling for the baby and DD in the cheapo mothercare buggy. I've got a Bugaboo which got daily use when I was on maternity leave, it coped brilliantly with walks on the common and the towpath. Once it's back in pram mode though, DD won't be able to get in it. I'm really going to try and avoid having to buy a double buggy.

nicnacinoonoo Fri 30-Oct-09 10:16:53

there's a due july 2010 thread now that makes me feel good ha grin

dani87 Fri 30-Oct-09 15:44:39

hey hows everyone? got up today with a terrible migrain

tostaky im going to be using my dd pram as shes now 18months and loves walking will get a buggy board for when shes tired! and for the cot will use my dd as she uses it as a bed as so will just get her a new bed and the baby a new matress for it

wellieboot Fri 30-Oct-09 15:56:42

Hi everyone, how weird about the thread - where is it?! I'm soooo tired at the moment. I keep waking up at 5.30/6am and not being able to go to sleep again. dani87 I had a headache yesterday all day, poor you. I am 17 weeks and still waiting to bloom and feel amazing - not happened yet.

I love the Phil & Teds buggies but as my DD will be 3.3 when the baby arrives I really can't justify getting one so I just plan to get a buggyboard to go on existing pram (we have a bugaboo gecko from when DD was a baby - can't wait to get it down from the loft and sort it out!). Have been using a basic Mclaren for the past 2 years and it is a complete wreck now so once DD gets the hang of the buggyboard might get rid of it!

thedollshouse Fri 30-Oct-09 16:18:06

Whoops! I only wanted one post deleted. sad

Snowtiger Fri 30-Oct-09 17:57:04

Phew, found you all! Wondered where everyone had gone.

Dani I had a migraine on Monday, horrible when you can't take migraleve isn't it. I took paracetamol and it didn't do a damn thing. Fortunately my folks were able to come and scoop me and DS up (DH away on business) and take us home so I could sleep. God bless parents, eh.

Re the buggy debate, I'm going to get a buggy board for Bugaboo Cam and in the meantime am training DS (2 and 2 months) to walk everywhere so he gets used to it! Am determined not to have to get a double buggy.

Wellie I'm 17 weeks tomorrow and although not blooming exactly have definitely got more energy than previous weeks.

This lunchtime while DS was asleep I cleared 2 wardrobes and filled 2 bin bags with clothes for the charity shop! I'm in a real clearing / sorting / ruthless chucking out mode, can't wait to get cracking on decorating a new bedroom for DS so that number 2 can have the nursery. Only problem is that I want it all done NOW!!

pillia78 Fri 30-Oct-09 20:31:29

Hello all, I was bereft when the thread dissapeared so chuffed to have found you! I think my sickness may have finally gone, yipppeee!! My hair has gone flat and horrible though and it is normally really fine anyway, boooo.

chegirlknowswhereyoulive Fri 30-Oct-09 20:51:44

Bettymum what did your message say smile?

I bought a double buggy yesterday and am sooo pleased. I saw it on ebay and snapped it up. The seller was only up the road. Its a Safety First tandem. Its a fairly cheap make but I didnt want to spend a lot as it wont be my only buggy. Its BRIGHT RED grin. Its so hard to get a bright buggy that isnt a P&Ts or a Buggyquinnyzappyboo.

Brand new, tags still on, all shiney and new and luverly.

I know its a bit soon but had to go for it.

*pillia' glad you are feeling better. My hair has only just started to recover. Its been mank for weeks but is now getting all glossy and thick. Yipee.

mummy my scan is on 25th too smile

stinkypinky Sat 31-Oct-09 07:32:37

So glad I found you again grin

Just threw up everywhere - my sickness seems to be getting worse!

Thank you for starting a new thread!
