Just making sure this is on my list of threads.

Had mw app yesterday everything is tickety boo except I am back on antibiotics for another uti. Never had any before but about the third one this pregnancy! I am soooo not happy with the extra discomfort!

just jumping on board. am going out to dinner tonight, will maybe ask for extra chilli! tonight is the equivalent night that i had ds, so i'm secretly hopeful for a repeat performance at the 38 week mark. i think realistically it's not likely though. [pours extra cup of raspberry leaf tea]

poor you with all the uti's mummyhill.

Ooh, new thread, how exciting!!

Had the home birth box delivered today, not quite sure what I expected but it's not quite as exciting as I thought it would be, lots of things to soak up bodily fluids mainly

Gas and air gets delivered on Thursday, after the consultant signs me off and agrees that there is no medical reason that I can't have a home birth, I'm hoping that the arguments I have as back up aren't going to be needed!!!

New thread, nice!

Jealous about anyone getting signs that something is imminent.....waiting, waiting!

Hi everyone, great to have a new thread but I have the feeling I will be knocking about on here as one of the last ones due.

Littlecheese, in response to your nightime nursing bras I used Sloggi crop tops last time and have been wearing htese at night so far this time. They give me enough support for night time and I have relatively large boobs, 32/34DD/E. You can just pull them down to feed.

Hi everyone! Can I join you? Only 34 weeks but have twins on board and c-section booked for 23rd Sept (though they're not expecting me to get that far!). Hoping to make it till 36 weeks!

Hello!
Anyone any good baby turning tips? It's lying straight across at the moment, very uncomfy. I've been lying with my arse in the air, and I've currently got a ice pack on the top of my bump.

Hello ZippysMum!

I did the anagram thing on the name we have chosen for our baby and it comes out as "He's the polite jobholder"
It's good to know his name portends employment in the future. employment in which he is well mannered, no less

wow, so many messages over the last couple of days!
Hi Zippysmum- twins! How exciting
Snowfalls- my baby keeps getting into the strangest positions. It makes me yelp sometimes. Ouch!
Got my first stretch marks the other day! I thought I might be one of the lucky ones, but heyho! 37 weeks and 5 marks...could be worse. Guess I keep slapping on the cream
Babylady- with you on the signs! I would like some now. Our time will come I guess.

Hi all, MrsChemist, great anagram. Is there a website where you can do that?/ That would while away a good hour of sofa-lying!
Hi also snow, Peachy, SFS and NitNat - it's going to be an exciting fer weeks, I think.
Snow, I read your other thread - I think you're already doing everything they suggest on the babyturning site. Hope it works and you're able to have the birth you want.

Howdy everyone - wow this thread has really picked up!

Re nipple confusion - I personally think this is a total crock. My DS was tube fed for the first few days in SCBU with my expressed baby milk. He STILL latched on at a few days old and I put my bf success down to being able to breast or bottle feed whenever I liked. It meant that when I had sore nipples, I could express it and not give up. It also meant that I could express more, in order to produce more when he had a growth spurt and that I always had spare milk in the freezer for someone else to do the feed if I was exhausted. I would say that he had about 2 bottle feeds a day, the rest breast feeds. Plus, weaning him was a breeze, as I gradually reduced the breast feeds over a couple of weeks, and he easily moved to other drinks and cups.

For mums wanting a fantastic book on bf I recommend this common sense gem which was leant to me by a friend with twins suffering reflux - it saved her lots of stress.

snowfalls my LO is transverse too - mw said not to put bum in air in case she turns the wrong way, but all fours is fine. She also said to keep a good posture (easier said than done) and not slouch back on the sofa.

Mummyhill I hope you recover quickly!

Welcome Zippysmum [smile}

i'm really not sure daffodilli - i'm quite honestly wondering if i just weed myself! it was a quick gush, but i'd just coughed, so that makes it even more perplexing. there's been no leaking since. and i don't think the volume was as much as i remember with ds.

going out to dinner anyway (not too far from home), and will make a quick exit home if i need to
taking my maternity notes with me too.

lol at your LO's anagram daffodilli.
