Thanks for the thread flf.

Just missed it and posted on the other one for gtdacp so will repost that one here now just in case:

gtdacp thing is they don't really have another swing that's comparable in a similar price range. Think I would have cancelled too.

Argos do the same swing in butterscotch but its £107.69 and its £101.00 at John Lewis online. £108.99 at Tesco Direct, but you'd get 108 clubcard points with it.

I'd make sure they refund the money sharpish, they have no reason for keeping hold of it after all. Did you pay via paypal? If so, they should be able to refund you straight away.

DH thinks its hilarious that I get called Moose by all and sundry on MN. Says it makes me sound like some sort of American Football Quarterback. Yeah right, thanks for that dahhling!

flf, does your DD have any idea about the imminent arrival? All DD does is look at my tummy, pull up her top and pat hers...they do look quite similar at the moment!

Have showed her a few picture books about new babies, and am sure she senses something is up... oh well, she'll find out soon (hopefully!)

How do I add myself to the still waiting list?
Do I cut and paste it on or am I just being super dim?

HKZ- 14 Jan (DD1 April 07)

To all those of you who have bought swings for previous dcs... how often did you use them? Were they worth it? Do they take up a lot of space? I didn't have one with DD...but am thinking about it now as I am going to have my hands full..

Now some people would think being called Dog is not all that flattering either (unless you are a bounty hunter of course), but when you consider that some of my best friends are/have been dogs, to be called Dog by me would probably be the highest form of compliment.

I got a swing this time hkz - but not 1st as I thought bubbs was better lying flat. 2nd time this time so dd2 is going to have to be on her own and be entertained when I'm on a potty run or whatever with dd1- plus our new house is wooden floors and bit draughty!

It was £20 from argos. Bargain!!

Can I get on the waiting list too? Jan 19th...appparently....[Feb 3rd or something more like!]

yes hkz, cut and paste.

DD has meat lots of other babies and likes them. She does pat the bump, kiss and hug it and say baby so I think she knows there is one in there. I've also got her a little doll with nappies and a bottle to play with. Am very sure however that she has no concept of just how much she is about to be userped though .

Lol at you calling it a waiting list.
