You win the mince pie McDreamy for the first one on the new thread - will direct the others over here now...

I'd hit Tesco now - it will be hellish tomorrow!

Pink - well done on your chocolate quest: make sure the goblins dont get it before tomorrow! And on getting your dad's presents - sounds like you're much more organised than you thought.

LBB - a rocking horse! What a lucky little man your DS is. Always wanted one of those when I was growing up.

MrsY - glad all is ok, but definitely give your midwife a call tomorrow to just check if there is anything you need to keep an eye out for. Have a great party tonight -the food sounds lovely.

[sniffs] funny smell in here

lbb.... i always do santa presents in the morning and the rest spaced throughout the day (or 3 days like last year as they had so many little bits it went on and on and on!)

that suits my kids though as they do prefer to play with each toy for a while before it even occurs to them that there are more pressies there

was supposed to be watching a movie with dp but tbh he's irritated me so much by doing swet f all today and i'm shattered so i think i'm just going to sulk off to bed now!

night all, merry xmas eve eve

I have been wrapping stuff up all evening and am now hopefully done (although I am sure I will think of another 10 things tomorrow).

What's with all the peeing when we start a new thread. Pelvic Floor Exercises Please Ladies !!

We have stocking presents in the morning and then family presents in the afternoon....gives the blighters something to stay well behaved for

MrsY - How long would it take me to drive to Kent from Devon to Hoover up your leftovers ? Sounds delicious !

Took DS2 to see Madagascar 2 today, can heartily recommend it to anyone with a 5 year old. (Did have a brief nap in the middle but didn't seem to miss anything major).

Where is MOS ? Haven't seen her around for a couple of days - are you ok ol' girl ?

missed that post when i was skimming, thanks for the offer laidback but i'm sure we'll be fine

money will improve after xmas so i'm planning on picking up a few bits each week until he/she arrives and then runnimng out and doing a geneder specific buy after the birth so although i'm being daft and worrying i'll have enough to get me through by the time kung fu panda finally breaks out. there's no rush, after all if he's born early in the next few weeks newborn clothes wouldn't be any good anyway as we'd need premmie stuff so i really am worrying about nothing!

thank you again for offering though, it's appreciated.

Tut tut you ladies are terrible!

I need to go out tomorrow and pick up some more presents. Tink is the only one missing now, I know what I want but it's finding a shop big enough to stock it! Because I'm not very mobile I'm reliant on people taking me. I think I'm just going to try for the bus tomorrow, if I time it well I can get a lift back from my dad after work. I do need to get a present for TBD and we haven't got our calendars done, but if all else fails I can get his present later and the calendars are going out later!

I'm so tired, but I feel too rough. I'm constantly going to the toilet and Tink is in my bed so I can't risk going to bed and disturbing her by keep getting up.

Reposting my last post as I didn't realise the thread had moved when I posted it:

Feel free to tell me I'm nuts, because I know I am! I've been having contractions for 9 weeks and haven't really panicked, Tink has had a bad belly for a couple of days and now I do too and rather than reassuring myself it's all part of the same bug I'm stressing that I'm clearing out and really am going to go into labour this time! lol I'm not sure which planet I'm on

LBB, I was talking generally, you were treated badly. It may be worth bringing it up at ANC and talk to them about your worries. They may try to talk you out of mixed feeding as it will lead to exclusive bottle. If you were struggling before then that would be part of why you were finding it so tiring.

S'ok my lovely.

We're up early! DD is in bed with me and we're about to watch 'Muppets take Manhattan'- I love the muppets.

I hope everyone is well, I am fed up of DH going to work, I want to be doing Christmassy things with him rather than scraping PVA glue off the table for the 400th time where DD has made her latest 'decoration'.

He finishes his last shift at 7pm tomorrow night so at least we can do presents with him then.

Right today I am:

Cleaning the house
Drinking tea
Sorting out laundry
Ironing
Drinking tea
Making sausage rolls
Packing the car for mine and dd's trip to relatives tomorrow
Drinking tea
Filling bags with fudge and rocky road
Making Lasange for dinner
