Pink - well done on your chocolate quest: make sure the goblins dont get it before tomorrow! And on getting your dad's presents - sounds like you're much more organised than you thought.

LBB - a rocking horse! What a lucky little man your DS is. Always wanted one of those when I was growing up.

MrsY - glad all is ok, but definitely give your midwife a call tomorrow to just check if there is anything you need to keep an eye out for. Have a great party tonight -the food sounds lovely.

*is so desperate for something sweet that she eats pudding anyway* hmm

PinkPoinsettias Tue 23-Dec-08 21:49:22

[sniffs] funny smell in here hmm

lbb.... i always do santa presents in the morning and the rest spaced throughout the day (or 3 days like last year as they had so many little bits it went on and on and on!)

that suits my kids though as they do prefer to play with each toy for a while before it even occurs to them that there are more pressies there grin

was supposed to be watching a movie with dp but tbh he's irritated me so much by doing swet f all today and i'm shattered so i think i'm just going to sulk off to bed now!

night all, merry xmas eve eve wink

ImDreamingOfANortyXmas Tue 23-Dec-08 21:59:19

Just making my mark as well for tomorrow smile

laidbackinamangernocribforabed Tue 23-Dec-08 22:20:52

I have been wrapping stuff up all evening and am now hopefully done (although I am sure I will think of another 10 things tomorrow).

What's with all the peeing when we start a new thread. Pelvic Floor Exercises Please Ladies !!

We have stocking presents in the morning and then family presents in the the blighters something to stay well behaved for hmm

MrsY - How long would it take me to drive to Kent from Devon to Hoover up your leftovers ? Sounds delicious !

Took DS2 to see Madagascar 2 today, can heartily recommend it to anyone with a 5 year old. (Did have a brief nap in the middle but didn't seem to miss anything major). wink

Where is MOS ? Haven't seen her around for a couple of days - are you ok ol' girl ?

laidbackinamangernocribforabed Tue 23-Dec-08 22:21:50

Just realised DS2 is actually 4 !!! My brain is frazzled blush.

rosieposeyxmaspuddingandpie Tue 23-Dec-08 22:26:32

im banished upstairs! DH is wrapping pressies and i have a terrible compulsion to hang over the banister and try and peek to see what i got...

Oh well nearly Christmas Eve so may as well go to bed now. Night night all

PinkPoinsettias Tue 23-Dec-08 22:27:14

pmsl..... i called the cat ds's name 3 times this week if it makes you feel better wink

PinkPoinsettias Tue 23-Dec-08 22:33:50

be glad you have surprises rosie.... not only did i buy my own pressies, i wrapped them too sad

laidbackinamangernocribforabed Tue 23-Dec-08 22:46:28

Oh PP sad . Did you see my message about whether you want any of my neutral baby clothes from DS3 - all in goood condition ? Do you know what you are having ? . I've gone a bit OTT with purples and a few pinks for this new girl . Happy to send them out to you [spread a little happiness ? ]

PinkPoinsettias Tue 23-Dec-08 23:01:15

missed that post when i was skimming, thanks for the offer laidback but i'm sure we'll be fine smile

money will improve after xmas so i'm planning on picking up a few bits each week until he/she arrives and then runnimng out and doing a geneder specific buy after the birth so although i'm being daft and worrying i'll have enough to get me through by the time kung fu panda finally breaks out. there's no rush, after all if he's born early in the next few weeks newborn clothes wouldn't be any good anyway as we'd need premmie stuff so i really am worrying about nothing!

thank you again for offering though, it's appreciated.

TinselBaublesMistletoe Wed 24-Dec-08 01:59:29

Tut tut you ladies are terrible!

I need to go out tomorrow and pick up some more presents. Tink is the only one missing now, I know what I want but it's finding a shop big enough to stock it! Because I'm not very mobile I'm reliant on people taking me. I think I'm just going to try for the bus tomorrow, if I time it well I can get a lift back from my dad after work. I do need to get a present for TBD and we haven't got our calendars done, but if all else fails I can get his present later and the calendars are going out later!

I'm so tired, but I feel too rough. I'm constantly going to the toilet and Tink is in my bed so I can't risk going to bed and disturbing her by keep getting up.

Reposting my last post as I didn't realise the thread had moved when I posted it:

Feel free to tell me I'm nuts, because I know I am! I've been having contractions for 9 weeks and haven't really panicked, Tink has had a bad belly for a couple of days and now I do too and rather than reassuring myself it's all part of the same bug I'm stressing that I'm clearing out and really am going to go into labour this time! lol I'm not sure which planet I'm on blush

LBB, I was talking generally, you were treated badly. It may be worth bringing it up at ANC and talk to them about your worries. They may try to talk you out of mixed feeding as it will lead to exclusive bottle. If you were struggling before then that would be part of why you were finding it so tiring.

Neeerly3 Wed 24-Dec-08 06:34:17

Neeerly3 Wed 24-Dec-08 07:04:51
