Hi, I'm also on the June thread but officially my due date would be 4th July 2009 so thought I'd better set up a thread for all these summer babies.

Got 3 BFP's yesterday although technically I am only 3+2 weeks. Would love to symptom spot with fellow early testers. Surely there must be more of us out there !! I can't be the first

Hi there funkybumps - read your previous TTC threads adn really pleased for you. I am around 4 weeks and got 3 really faint positives over the last 3 days and loads of negatives before that although I was pretty convinced I was pregnant with all the bloating, hunger, nausea, runny nose, headaches etc..... but now I actually have the BFP am in total shock! IT'll be no 3 (DSs are 4 and 2.5) . Am feeling super bloated (tummy is definitely bigger) and craving stodge .... surely that must be too soon? Still can't quite believe it.... how you getting on?

hi yes we've been on the ttc thread together. Congrats on the BFP. Are you getting faints on ebay cheapies because so did I ? I would definately go out and get one of the clearblue digis cos there's nothing better than seeing 'pregnant' flash up on the screen. The ebay ones barely showed up at all.

Well we are on baby no. 2 ( DD is 5, will be 6 by the new arrival ) so looking forward to doing it all over again.

I have had headaches and nausea and my boobs are incredibly sore !! and like you my tummy is definately bigger as I am unable to fasten the top button on my trousers although DH thinks I'm mad when I told him this

thanks for popping in minipink and libralady. Your babies are beautiful. Still doesn't feel real at the moment. As I tested early I just keep expecting my AF to turn up at any minute so I spend most of my time knicker checking at the moment

Feel heavy around my uterus today. Have no idea if that's normal. You'd never guess I'd done this before would you ? I should be calm and confident this time round

Hi all!!! know what you mean about the heavy tummy... have my docs app on friday so everything might feel a little more real then? still can't quite believe it! (and I keep testing! Am i mad!!!!)

Report
funkybumps · 22/10/2008 10:19

no you're not mad. If I had anymore tests I'd still be testing aswell !! Went to the docs yesterday but everything has to be done through a midwife now where we live so am booked in to see her a week on Thursday. Felt so strange phoning and asking to speak to a midwife

I bet!!! you were right though.... doing a clear blue digital where it says 'pregnant' in black and white certainly does make it seem more real!

Report
funkybumps · 22/10/2008 11:13

yeah doesn't it ? They are great things. I remember doing about 10 tests with DD, some positive, some negative, some faint AARRGHH ! Don't remember them doing the digital ones then but would have saved me a fortune !

Got such bad stomach cramps today. Really really feels like AF is coming. I hope this is a tough little bean and is causing these pains cause it's burrowing in nice and securely.

Hello hope you dont mind me joining you all. I had a BFP on monday was a very big shock. Still trying to get my head around it. I have a dd who is 3yrs old. I'm not sure of my due date i am guessing 15th July. Well at least i am hoping it will be around then. My dd's b-day is the 27th June and my dss's b-day is the 3rd of july so im hoping this one will be middle of july. Anyway enough from me and congrats to everyone.

hi pandagirl, welcome and congrats for your BFP.

A handy tool to work out your due date is in this link www.babycentre.co.uk/tools/duedate/

If you type in your last period and cycle length it will give you your EDD

thanks for that funkybumps, according to that due date tool, i will be due the 27th June, i hope not as that is my dd's b-day. before that would be good or a couple of weeks later.

I'll be having a c-section this time at 38 weeks so I will know exactly when the due date is for this little one in advance which is really strange. Went 2 weeks over with DD

Hi funkybumps, i suspect i will be having a c section too, my dd was a section. But here they wont give you a section until 39 weeks. But i suppose at least i will know when it will be due.

Report
funkybumps · 23/10/2008 09:54

yes, it'll be strange to be given a date and time and know that's when you'll be having your baby. I think a c-section is 39 weeks here too normally but have to go in early to minimise chances of going into labour naturally.

I'm still in shock and dying to do another test to make sure it still says pregnant !!

Hi there! Welcome and congrats pandagirl03 and thanks for the best wishes snoopdog! How are you guys feeling today? I've had a pretty high temperature but feel ok, except rather tired and very emotional (cried buckets over desperate housewives... why???) so about to make myself a cup of tea and have some cake to cheer myself up! So much for a healthy and fit pregnancy so far....

hi all, I am feeling sick and my boobs are very sore. The most obvious thing I must comment on is the increase in CM today. I feel like my AF is starting because of it !

Hi ladies

Was going to lurk for a while as feeling a bit anxious, but then thought where better to get support than here .
Have had a MC in the past (8 years ago) although have had two DC's since then (plus one before the MC). Haven't told anyone (except DH obviously) about being pregnant, although desperate to. I'm trying really hard not to be too excited yet, but it's not working to well

My due date is 29th/30th June, but the June antenatal thread looked a bit long and scarey with lots of people I didn't know so I thought I'd come here instead. Hope that's okay.

I'd really like to hide under the duvet for the next few weeks until after the 12 week mark, but that is not going to get the Christmas shopping done

Hi JLo2 - welcome and congrats!!! I thought the same thing about the June thread and looks like my due date is now going to be end June (had miscalc'd first of all).... will know for sure tomorrow as have meet with docs. How are you feeling? Definitely better to share I think than keep things bottled up! At what stage did you miscarry last time? Hopefully all will be ok this time x What ages are your kids? Wishing you lots and lots of luck.

Hi ttcno3 and thanks for the welcome. Feeling exhausted today, could have quite happily put my head down on the desk about 4pm and fallen asleep. My last MC was at 12 weeks so still got a long way to go until I'm past that mark. My DS's are 10,7 and 5 and my MC was in between 1 & 2. Don't know if it made a difference, but I was carrying twins and I think if I can get an early scan that confirms (hopefully) that it's just one, I'll feel a bit more confident

Have you told anyone yet? I think I'll book a doctors appt for the end of next week, by which time I'll be 6 weeks.
