Sorry haven't had chance to catch up on all the chit chat as have been a busy bee! I am trying to make the most of the sunshine and get as much of the baby's washing done as possible (still have no tumble drier). I am on my 4th load, but have done the blankets, sheets, moses baskets cover, play mat, car seat cover & head hugger, bouncy chair cover, towels and have finally started on the clothes. I also unloaded/re-loaded the dishwasher and cleaned the oven so far. Floors need mopping, bathroom needs cleaning and clothes need ironing but know I won't get all that done today. May take the boys out on thier bikes shortly while it is nice.

Ohhh, For anyone who was thinking of getting a nursing chair, I saw a bargain coming to a Lidl near you on the 22nd. I have a second hand Ikea poang chair which i have had for just over 2 weeks now and it is seriously the most comfortable thing, especially if you put a v pillow behind you (I am lucky in that we have 3 in the house). I read to the boys from the chair every night and if I even think of sitting down in it mid afternoon, I fall asleep. Anyway, Lidl are advertising a chair that looks just like the poang WITH the footstool for £49. You can't even buy the poang on it's own for less than £59 from Ikea. I think the cheapest you can get the chair/footstool combo is £110 from Ikea, so a bit of a bargain to be had I think. Had I not managed to get a pristine second hand one off ebay, I would have bought this one I am sure (I wonder if they do the footstool on it's own??)

Cricri, I am admitting to be pretty tired but I know the sleeping thing is only going to get worse, so best crack on while I still have an inkling of energy. Plus once the washing is done, it's done and I needn't worry about it until after baby's arrival. The oven won't need that kind of intensive cleaning again until after xmas I hope.

Jobs are definately starting to get harder, baby's head feels a little lower, the electric shocks in the fanjo area started yesterday...OUCH!!

Ruthosaurus, I absolutelty recommend the Poang, fab chair. I am actually thinking that when I wake up with a sore back tomorrow morning and have to pee, I may just kip in the chair until the next time I need to pee to take some pressure off my back, it is that comfy.

As for the stuff I have been doing today, really it's the washing that sounds like alot, but really isn't that taxing until I have to fold & put it away.

Now that I have sat down, I probably won't get up again or do anything else for the rest of the day until I have to put something in for tea!

Well I went on a mission to get the remainder of stuff for my hospital bag and came home with - Nothing - I did go for a very nice leisurely lunch though and had cake which was yum. After that I was just not botherd - Did get my secret stork though, its vv hard to buy for soemone you have never met!
Lidl chair looks good but sadly I have no room so will have to make do with the bed.

lol just me feeling sorry for myself. I can't believe it either, especially considering I have the big things already. I was earning a lot more money whe I had the other two!
I have been putting off the sofa thing but they really are ready for the skip, tbh. We've been trying to get a second hand pair but they are all very shabby or white or cream (not v.practical).People don't replace sofas unless they really have to, as far as I can tell.
It may be a trip to Ikea and a blind eye to the bank balance.

RE the chair thing, Ikea do this one (hey, I'm getting well flash about posting links - check me out!) for £39 which I am sure is just a cheaper Poang. No footstool, tho', but given that my poor baby's room is about 2m by 3m I'm sure that's a little academic. Btw, this is the room in which Mr Saurus and I are sleeping while the decorating is going on. In addition to about 3 metric tons of combined grumpy and sleepless Saurus, it also contains 2 double beds (1 on its side) and a wardrobe, which we are sharing and which also contains a sewing machine, a fossilised Fisher Price garage fro DH's distant past and DH's badly hidden birthday presents). I am using an upturned waste-paper basket as a bedside table for my Gaviscon as anything larger would block the way to the door... [SCREAAAAAAAAM! I NEED SPACE!!!! emoticon]

Sorry for whinge, it just all hit me at once. I will come back when I have a real problem...
