Blinded by headache all day. Relief is the first item of business on my list for doctor's visit this Friday.

Baby is totally cramped in it's space. Head pokes me here. Foot pokes me there. This is only 16+3. shock

DD is a different child today. She's only had two doses of antibiotic but WOW!! I'm impressed. She even slept through the ENTIRE night. AND best of all, she hasn't YELLED at me once all day. smile

Rowena is nice but DH vetoed it. Have pen and paper in hand so will be brain storming the rest of the week. Ella is what I thought of this morning.hmm

I think the last everyone was discussing maternity clothes at the end of the last thread.....I meant ask, what are maternity socks?

ts - thank you, hadn't got round to it as dd2 decided to launch herself off top of toy pram and smash her face on wooden floor - needless to say bubba gump bottom lip and lots of blood later so was a tad preoccupied!!

am glad to head DD is on the mend.

Ella is a beautiful name although as am slightly biased being as thats dd1's name! what is your dd called so we can help with the suggestions!

hope they can give you some relief for your headache, lovely that owenetta is cramped in, mine has a whole lot of room for manouver grinblush

OUCH Dizzy. My DD did a flash plant recently. She grew a "SHREK BUMP" grin (that's what she called it). Thought she'd learned her lesson....NOOOOO. A few hours later I found her doing the same thing that caused the bump in the first place.

WHT the H$&& is a flash plant???angry I meant a face plant but obviously my fingers had a different plan.

Nice thread title hmm. We ladies have far too much chatting to do instead of wasting time thinking up witty thread titles....hmm

I have absolutely no idea what sex this baby is! My inital thoughts that it may be a boy are no longer so certain. With ds I just knew he was a boy and we had it confirmed at 20week scan. Before that I kept dreaming I was holding him, and that he was a boy. This one, I just do not know!!

Talking of jeans I might buy these as the waist band isn't too huge and maternity like.

TwilightSurfer Tue 04-Mar-08 21:11:54

Glad I'm not driving......

CaptainCaveman Tue 04-Mar-08 21:12:49

EEEEK, that should have been "nice thread title grin" REading it the other way sounds really sarcastic!!!

CaptainCaveman Tue 04-Mar-08 21:14:03

hey TS [waves] how's life over the other side of the Atlantic today?

dizzydixies Tue 04-Mar-08 21:15:29

lol CC I just got jeans from Next but wish had bought those ones instead as still needing belt with ones I got

TS dd2 is a farking nightmare for her face, its always covered in bruises, scratches etc she already only has half of one of her front teeth from launching herself off a chair and goodness knows what this latest 'swan' dive has done to them - am dreading looking in the morning!

TwilightSurfer Tue 04-Mar-08 21:16:13

No sacarism picked up during my read. I can't even type let along read. grin

I like those jeans...how do they look at the foot??

If you ask me, I think you (Captain) are having another boy.

Rain Rain Rain Rain. Oh and more Rain here in the bible belt. Two weeks till Spring Break so everyone's hoping the clouds rain themselves out soon.

dizzydixies Tue 04-Mar-08 21:19:52

ooh ooh TS guess me, what am I having?!!??

CaptainCaveman Tue 04-Mar-08 21:20:11

this is how they look on the foot. See image above of 'nice' (bleurgh) white jeans. Obv, no one alive would buy white jeans...right?

TwilightSurfer Tue 04-Mar-08 21:20:25

Dizzy our DDs sound like their related.

CaptainCaveman Tue 04-Mar-08 21:21:07

dizzy, I think you're having a .......baby! Am I right? Man, I;m good!

TwilightSurfer Tue 04-Mar-08 21:22:24

Ooo yes I do like those jeans. Missing jeans right now. I might just see how I can get those.

OP’s posts: |
dizzydixies Tue 04-Mar-08 21:23:59

and THAT, CC is why we let TS do the gender guessing grin you did get the quantity right though lol

TS just so you know its not my 'Ella' that keeps launching herself at the floor, tis the second fruit loop dd!

CaptainCaveman Tue 04-Mar-08 21:25:25

Ah my transatlantic twin, same good taste in clothes too. Tell me, are you currently experiencing tiredness and weightgain too?....wink

TwilightSurfer Tue 04-Mar-08 21:27:09

ARGHHHHH a name, that's what I'm suppose to be researching. Thanks for reminding me Dizzy. Ella, for me, is a blend of Eleanor (DH's mom) and Claudia (my mom). I'm still fond of Emory Kate. Sadie is a new idea. Oh why is naming a child so hard.

OP’s posts: |
CaptainCaveman Tue 04-Mar-08 21:27:57

Here, try this....

The Bathtub Test

During a visit to the mental asylum, a visitor asked the Director how do you determine whether or not a patient should be institutionalized.

'Well,' said the Director, 'we fill up a bathtub, then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the patient and ask him or her to empty the bathtub.'

'Oh, I understand,' said the visitor. 'A normal person would use the bucket because it's bigger than the spoon or the teacup.'

'No' said the Director, 'A normal person would pull the plug. Do you want a bed near the window?'

TwilightSurfer Tue 04-Mar-08 21:29:54

Dear Captain I am tired 24/7 with occasional burst of energy (enough to clean the kitchen countertop or do a load of laundry...but not fold it.) Weight? I think I am. I "think" I'd only gained 2 pounds by 12 weeks but I'm up to 7 pounds gained as of yesterday...five pounds in four weeks, is that good or bad?

OP’s posts: |
TwilightSurfer Tue 04-Mar-08 21:31:28

You should have left off the ending because my response would have been....isn't there a plug?? I'm NOT INSANE!!!!

OP’s posts: |
dizzydixies Tue 04-Mar-08 21:32:03

ROFL CC

TS thats a nice thought, our Ella is actually Isabella after my great aunt, mum mn, cousin's mn and other aunt - we like to keep it in the family! In saying that there are no 'Ellas' so she is the first - if you ask her what her name is it is very definately Ella and not Isabella but its all we've ever called her so how would she know any different?

CaptainCaveman Tue 04-Mar-08 21:32:28

I daren't bloody weigh myself! Normally am 9 stone but feel the scales are going to be tipping towards the 'fat knacker' end of the scale....hmmm, we don't have scales at home so no idea what my weight is currently. Am guessing I've put on around 8lbs so far (although that may be a very conservative estimate!)
