Don't worry, copied and pasted, sure the other girls are far more just as capable. Gosh, Scorpio, are you really going by that 'last trimester only' rule? I have been having 300 extra since 12 weeks!

I am helpless obsessive calorie counter. Have been since way before DD - blame the maths brain. Although think I never got to target weight before because alcohol calories 'didn't count' ...

Mmmm chips. Still haven't had lunch. Any suggestions? Sausage casserole with mashed sweet potatoes tonight.

Bring back food porn, I say.

Sausage casserole is cos they need cooking today (like mince did on Sat hence lasagne yesterday), but remember I did something with tinned tomatoes, onions, peppers (also need cooking) and paprika and it was really nice. Can't remember how I made it but prob just chucked everything in as that's my usual style! Serve with dollop of natural yoghurt.

OMG at fact someone is looking for 'Eton for Girls' when her DD isn't potty trained!!

Might have pitta, ham and cottage cheese for lunch. Forgot to look in freezer before shopping and now have 6 packs of pittas in freezer!!

We have been here a while, haven't we? DD is 21 months now!

Doubt we'll do much for Val Day as just had wedding anniversary! Don't usually do much but more likely now as quite rare we go out together. My favourite ever (this will be our 7th) was when we'd just bought our flat and had no furniture or pans or anything but managed to make some tea (fajitas) and eat it on paper plates standing up in the kitchen. Naturally we had managed to get hold of wine glasses (priorities...).

I could do Woking or thereabouts quite easily...

Babysitting for Valentine's Day is practically non-existent (plus it always seems a bit cheeky even to ask -- subtext of "hey, you look like a person with a non-existent love life, can you babysit on Valentine's Day?" so we normally stay in and have something nice at home. DH's birthday is on the 16th so we tend to go out for that instead. This year we're splitting the difference and going out on the 15th.

Report
TLSM · 28/01/2008 13:56

My Birthday is the 10th and Dh is the 27th so we only do cards and a nice meal!

My birthday on the 14th and i get two cards. H did that from the beginning when we were still dating, without any hints or direction from me. Sweet

I doubt we will be doing anything. But I think I'll try and cook us something nice for dinner.

I don't know if I will get a pressie, doesn't particularly matter to be honest. We decided not to get each other Xmas pressies but I couldn't resist getting him a rucksack and night gown...Not much but he loved them

Report
Mum2b2BabyRoo · 28/01/2008 14:21

This V Day I've told DH to save the money for baby instead... so we'll just do cards and a meal...

Regardng calories - have no idea how many I'm eating or supposed to be eating a day! What is it? Appetite not big so I am sure I am not going over... I hope!

Hope you all had good weekends.

Siikibam, it's my birthday on the 14th too. Valentine's day is a not a great day to have your birthday on, I think, you need to make reservations way in advance and we are never that organised!

My dad offered to buy the pushchair for us (he's very excited about his first grandchild) so I spent hours researching pushchairs and still have no idea what to get.

I have no idea how many calories I'm consuming, I am not so strict as before about eating cake, but I figure I drink next to no wine so that makes up for it!

We're flying off to Lanzarote for a week on Valentines Day. Not very exotic I know, but the weather's really improved over the past couple of weeks there so at least we can have some fun in the sun!

I have sausages for tea tonight too - and am thinking I might make a casserole now - and some dauphinoise potatoes or something. It'll make a change from sausage and mash ... especially as we had HUGE amounts of haggis and mash at the weekend because it was Burns Night.

I live far to far away to meet up, but I do have friends in Reading and Henley that I visit a lot so if timing works out, it might not be totally out of the question!?
