So I don’t really know what I’m doing but trying to keep the bus moving after our BFPs. Don’t know about everyone else but I feel very anxious and worried about the whole thing. I really want to be happy and celebrate but can’t just yet

@krk05 I’m with you. I got mine on Monday and AF was due today so I’ve been freaking out alllllll day. No AF has appeared though. Apparently I’m 4weeks + 1 due the 10th Feb according to NHS website but like I say I even hate the thought that I have checked that too x

@RiverRoo I'm apparently due the 15th of Feb & 3weeks 3days. Have u ever had any problems in the past or this your first pregnancy? I had an Ectopic in March so naturally freaking out 😭

@krk05 - this is my first. Oh so sorry to hear that. I’ve heard people say if they have had that in the past they have been able to Get an early scan to check. Might put your mind at rest abit more x

I was waiting for someone to set this up while also being incredibly lazy for not doing it myself! I'm 4+4 and a bit worried like most of you but also strangely calm given I had a miscarriage in Feb this year.

It kind of feels like I've experienced the worst that can happen if that makes sense? (Although I know there are worse things like being further along than 6 wks like we were). Also, if everything works out well I don't want to look back in the early days of this pregnancy and remember feeling anxiety and worry instead of pure happiness that we are indeed pregnant 🥰

I've stopped testing and looking for line darkness as that just makes me worry. All I know at the moment, is that I'm pregnant and that makes me incredibly excited!!

@KRK05 I meant to take you sorry. I'm really sorry to hear about your ectopic pregnancy earlier in the year. Looks like we are in a similar boat with an early loss a few months ago. Fingers crossed for us!!

Sorry girls I totally confused myself & probably yous there I tagged @RiverRoo when it was supposed to @Runnergirl1 I sounded so bloody rude 🙈 so il do it right this time hahaha..

@Runnergirl1 Since this is your first please please enjoy it & try not to worry, I 100000% enjoyed my first, these threads are great but sometimes when u hear everybody's heartbreaking stories of MC, Ectopic, CP u think about all that & forget to enjoy the experience of YOUR 9 months ❤ if I hadnt had my Ectopic in March I would be much more relaxed cause pregnancy is such an amazing experience that u miss when its gone (or atleast I did 🙈) your right though I will get a scan at 6/7 weeks from the NHS so that will definitely help ease my mind.

@RiverRoo Sorry to hear u had a MC in Feb. I totally agree with just trying to enjoy the pregnancy cause that's what I'm gonna do too 🥰

@krk05 - wow see that’s another lovely message, you ladies are the right people to be on here with. Thank you. I will try, I think it doesn’t help my partner doesn’t want to get too excited too early either so we haven’t talked about it a lot but we are both extremely happy and excited. Thank you ladies x

Morning all, tentatively joining- I got my BFP Friday morning as you might have seen in the June bus thread but it is very very early days (3&6 according to my dates- my cycles are usually 27 days) Hoping very much we get lots more joining us and with some good chat this month moves fast! Decided I may pay for a private scan at around 9/10 weeks just for reassurance x

Hello! Joining the party after getting BFP yesterday! 16DPO and NHS sure says 4 weeks pregnant already (long cycles). Guess we are all Feb 2021 due dates?

Tentatively marking my place...

Currently on day 2 of 3 bedrest as ordered by EPU after a small bleed.

I'm 4+3 I think, due date of February 10th - snap @Runnergirl1!

Second DC and so far nothing like the first!!

Runnergirl1 · 07/06/2020 12:25

We are all quite close then so far. Hope everything works out for you @onnaturescourse. This is my first but feels very surreal. Don’t really have many symptoms other than needing to wee in the night and waking up at 5 every morning (this is not heard of for me, I am not a morning person)

OnNaturesCourse · 07/06/2020 12:53

Thank you.

I've got a few "kind of" symptoms like peeing more frequently during the day, and my boobs are getting tender. Plus I'm shattered and moody but that could be because I'm stuck in bed at the moment, and getting frustrated at DP failing to see the mess of the house 😤🙄

Oh, and discharge is ramping up.. I remember that symptom from my 1st pregnancy so I know its only gonna get worse!

Hello all, thank you for creating this thread! We are a same-sex couple and wife had BFP this morning. Yay!
Very anxious about it all but will have a 7-week scan at the end of the month (standard at our fertility clinic).
Has anyone contacted GP/midwife and know what antenatal care looks like at the moment?

Report
Hogrider · 07/06/2020 16:15

@OnNaturesCourse Hope you are ok, 3 days of bed rest must be hard when you aren't "sick" as such? Is discharge a pregnancy symptom? I have lots already, which freaks me out because I think it's AF every time I feel something down there. This is my first pregnancy so no ideA what to expect!

@DAC21 Welcome welcome! Is this your first baby too? I haven't contacted anyone, but mainly because we are moving house next week so I don't have a GP at the moment. Moving county and have to start looking at GP/midwife when I get there... I'm considering booking an 8 week scan privately so my OH can come with. I hear NHS still don't allow partners to come to the scans. 😬

OnNaturesCourse · 07/06/2020 16:17

@DAC21 hey! Congratulations 🎊 where I am, Scotland, you have to call up a national midwife unit to tell them your pregnant and they take it from there with getting appointments etc at your local midwife. Atleast that's what happened with my 1st. I've not done it yet with this pregnancy as I don't want to jinx it so will wait until after 6 weeks.

@Hogrider I'm not sure if it's an official symptom but I remember it from being pregnant with my first (who is now 2.5years) With that pregnancy it was crazy, there were days I was wearing pads instead of liners as it was so wet - actually thought I could be peeing myself slightly but midwife confirmed it was just wet discharge and "normal" for some. This pregnancy I'm 4 weeks in and my liners are already pretty full quickly. TMI I know, pregnancy is just lovely lol.

Bedrest is boring, but thankful DP is still furloughed so is taking care of DC1 (he is literally just managing to keep him and her alive, the house is a shambles lol) Shamefully Im quite glad he's getting a insight into my life 6am - 6pm Monday to Saturday!!

@OnNaturesCourse Ah, good to know! I'm fully expecting pregnancy to be full of weird things, like the fact that I just farted very loudly in front of my husband during dinner... 😝

OnNaturesCourse · 07/06/2020 19:57

Haha that was one of my symptoms last week, super super gassy...and the cramps that went with the gas 😳😭
