Thanks @Busylizzie85!
So great to hear that things are starting for lots of you!
I am 37+3 so potentially got a while to go yet! I’ve been having lots of cramps and cervix headbuts though so I do feel like my body is preparing which is promising!

Been trying to hand express colostrum but not getting a single drop as yet!

Well I don’t know weather to laugh or cry, after my drop in growth &sweep on Monday ive had pains on and off lots of bloody mucus and some reduced movements so been for a scan . Baby is fine but has only gone and turned transverse 😶. Sat waiting for the consultant, Not sure what this means for us now !

Congratulations to those who have had babies over the last few days! It must be amazing to finally cuddle them.

I'm 37+4 and had an hour of mild contractions last night but nothing came of it! I have been having period like pains a bit today aswell. Baby is 1/5 palpable so very engaged 😊 I will probably still end up going to 42 weeks though!

@chocolate26 I was just being nosey as I had my baby last month and read your post and had to say, I had everything you're having including 1/5 and I gave birth at 38+4! I was convinced I would go 42 too.
Congratulations and good luck with the labour!!

@K1999 oh that's encouraging to hear! 😃 I hope the same happens for me! I'm getting impatient waiting now, it's hard to think I might have to wait another 4 weeks.

Congratulations on your baby!

Thanks for the new thread! Can't believe we filled another one!! 😍 Finally has a call back from the hospital today and someone had somehow cancelled my scan and appointment and no one knows how!! Nightmare! My consultant is now squeezing me in on Friday but it's her in call day so I may have a wait!! Wish I was just woth the midwives, would be so much more straightforward!!

Thanks for the new thread.

Had period cramps the last 2 days but nothing coming of it. Starts and stops. Very tired today at 39+1. Seeing consultant tomorrow and midwife so going to ask to see if cervix is favourable for a sweep! Want to meet little one now, anxiety going through the roof with movement or lack off - but I've been like this since 20 weeks!

First time since the first trimester where I'm in bed attempting to achieve a nap! But conscious I'd be better walking around to get things going.

Sooo had a dream she arrived last night 😂 woke up this morning...god damn.
Ive tidied up, done washing, attempted a hoover & a small walk/waddle with the dog. One of them days where i have a burst of energy, OH will probably give me wrong for walking dog & hoovering when he gets in😂

39+5 today. No sign of labour I think! I've gotten aches since about 37 weeks but I think it's just pgp playing up again. Doesn't feel like pressure more like just the muscles and pelvic bones hurting😞 keep trying to motivate myself to keep doing the exercises. Ugh I hate the waiting game.

I'm so frustrated. Everything has calmed down again. @HaichMal I think you might be right and this will just keep happening for ages. My DH, mum, and sister keep saying they think it's the start but I'm never convinced. It's very weird because it's incredibly painful and lasts for ages when it happens. More often than not ends up in my going to the toilet so I am wondering if it's bowel related and I'm basically clearing out ready but I'm having contractions to do it. Pain is excruciating when it comes.

@chocolate26 that's positive I went to midwife this morn and last wed she was just sat in pelvis and today she is 2/5 engaged so I'm happy about that x

@Magpiefeather I managed to get 1ml today and did it in the bath as warmth is supposed to help. I kept doing squeeze and release until something appeared!

I’ve been admitted due to the risk of cord prolapse . Had to argue to be allowed home to get some stuff . Consultant offering evc with a water break or a section . I’ve refused either right now and they are happy to observe me over night and re scan in the morning then make a decision from there . Sad saying good bye to dd and dp not spent a night away in 2 years 😭

@Pegase that’s great! How long did you keep going before something came out? It seems to trigger cramps in me which i don’t necessarily mind but just not sure I’ll ever get anything out!
