Am here too :) Feeling a bit better today after a good night in my own bed!! Coronavirus wise, I am getting a little anxious about it but not overly so. We have a few cases in my county but I think it's more to do with the fact other half has to go into London for work.

Checking in again!

My work has said I can work from home until I go on maternity leave at Easter due to the corona virus etc. I didnt ask but they offered so I thought I should take the opportunity! I am starting to feel so tired and run down so hopefully being able to be at home more will help.

I’m just really hoping it stays away from Bath for another few weeks! I have just 18 days left at work and a ton of files to handover, then I will be at home and can finally start sorting out the nursery!

Had my midwife appointment today - can't believe im 29 weeks now 😮 everything seems fine, but I'm still in so much pain with SPD, and keep having nightmares, just feeling really fed up. Midwife has mentioned a referral to the mental health team at the hospital which I'm a little nervous about. Also being referred to see a consultant over the SPD, theres a chance they may induce me at term but will find out more at the appointment. Been told lots of rest, and no more work. So went well in some ways and not so well in others 😔

Anyone else just counting down the days left at work? My employer has been so useless in helping me arrange leave etc and redistributing my workload that it's just going to be so disorganised so I can't wait to be finished but struggling to cope with the usual level of pressure being applied!

sao81 · 10/03/2020 20:37

@helpasisterout I really feel for you with work, I feel relieved knowing its no longer a worry! How long have you got left?

👋🏻 Will thread 6 be the last one?!

Hope you are all well. Apart from feeling like a whale and bad hips and exhaustion I'm ok (I think!) Got another growth scan tomorrow to see how my girl is doing (I have them every 4 weeks as my son was 10lb 4oz) So far she's been on the 53rd centile so hoping she stays that way. However I've had a huge growth spurt over the last 2/3 weeks so I'm worried she's gonna have gone off the chart 😂

@sao81 33 working days left hallelujah! I just decide on what work needs done myself pretty much so muddle through the next few days and going to sit and write a plan on Friday night of what needs to be done each day for the last 30 to keep me busy and focused!

Report
sao81 · 10/03/2020 21:26

@Moonstone12 good luck for the scan! I have one next week, love getting to see how they're getting on in there!
@helpasisterout yeah that sounds like a good idea, break it all down into smaller jobs should help it seem less daunting!

Checking in. 9 shifts left at work, on annual leave at the moment which has been lovely, I don’t want to go back, especially into a hospital in the present climate 😬
Had 4d scan last Saturday, was lovely to see baby boy although he was buried into the placenta so didn’t get many good pictures. But a relief to know he’s ok.

Just checking in 😊

Hope everyone is feeling/ doing well.

I'm there with those of you with PGP/SPD. Mine is well and truly at it's worse. I was in agony last week. Physio was really good though and gave me a massage on Friday which really helped. I actually think I must have strained it which made it worse last week. Not long now!! I keep getting nervous giggles as i was a prem baby & was born at 32+3 - that will be where I am next week!! Just exciting thinking we are in the end stretch now! xxx

@May2311, eep I’m 32+4 today so that is crazy to think about! I’m not quite ready for baby to come yet, need to finish work and sort out the house!

Report
May2311 · 11/03/2020 09:04

@Sunshine8888 tell me about it! When do you finish? My last day is thurs 2nd April- I've got loads of leave to take beforehand so taking that before maternity starts beginning of May.

I have the health visitor coming round tomorrow to "introduce" herself. Has anyone had the health visitor round yet? What type of things do they ask? Debating whether I need to make homemade cookies so I seem all motherly 😂😂 xxx

@May2311 from what I remember, its usually to discuss things they have in your area like the childrens centre, baby groups etc. They also give you info on feeding, and safe sleep. I remember mine wanted to see where baby would be sleeping to check it was set out safely, but we were in the middle of moving so she left that until when baby was here!

Hey well my little one, shocked us all and arrived 10 weeks early, after a pretty smooth pregnancy, I just spontaneously went into labour!!! He will be in hospital for a while yet but both him and me are doing well!! Can believe I'm a mummy!! Good luck with the rest of your pregnancies. X

@Purple29 oh my! Congratulations. Glad to hear you are both doing well Flowers

I was measured as being just over the 90th centile yesterday. Midwife didn't seem to think it an issue and just said we will continue to monitor. Anyone else having a chunky monkey?
