I just wanted to create a thread for people that will be due in August / September 2020: we can share our stories and symptoms. Keep each other company throughout the pregnancy. We can share our happiness and worries.
I hope many of you will join me.

I just found out I am 3 weeks pregnant.

@Sunshinexx95

Apps / NHS calculator say due date will be Sep 4th.

My period is actually due tomorrow but I tested 2 days early with it being NYE and not wanting to end up having a drink if I shouldn't be! Nervously checking every time I go to the toilet now. Both tests yesterday had very strong lines though and my boobs are sore too. Would like to just fast forward a few weeks now and know that everything is ok xx

Hello lovelies. I am 4+2 according to my app.
Due on my period yesterday and have had cramps for the past 2 weeks. I have read that it is normal however it’s still freaking me out a little, first pregnancy nerves! How does everybody else feel? X

@Gingerlockssss @Annafs

Congratulations! I'm feeling pretty crap today, got a banging headache and earache! Apparently headaches are quite normal? Boobs are really tender and sore too haha other than that I'm swinging between really excited and worried!!

Also, I did the self referral online to the midwife, do I need to go to the doctor's too or is that enough?

@Annafs @Gingerlockssss
Welcome ladies! I hope our pregnancies goes well.
I have no symptoms except from very bad back ache but I already know I have retroverted uterus And I read it is normal to have backache. But I'm still nervous for early misscarriage. I have never been pregnant before. And I am only 3 weeks and 4 days pregnant. My period is due on the 4th but I really hope it will not show up and disappoint me.

Just found out I'm 4+2, planned but didn't expect it to happen so quickly so feeling a bit numb and in shock! Doesn't feel real yet and don't want to get my hopes up as it's so so early. Congratulations everyone x

Hi all, I don’t want to put a dampener on the thread but I think there’s already one of these going in ante natal clubs.
Congratulations all.

MimiCaeger · 01/01/2020 14:47

Also hi Gin, I would suggest testing again, the line is finer than it should be as well as being faint

Hey ladies! And happy new year!
Congratulations to all!
Got my BFP on Christmas morning!
Im due approx 31st Aug, pretty nervous after having a miscarriage in October.
At the minute just experiencing light cramping and absolutely shattered, can't tell if that's from pregnancy or just the festive season and all the compulsory socialising Xmas Confused

Report
Sherlock30 · 01/01/2020 21:38

@xiaomao hey! I think that should be enough, if you tell GP they tend to just tell you to refer to the midwives anyway Smile
Or that's my experience at least

Hi!
I think I’m around 7 weeks, and due mid August. First ever pregnancy, which was a complete surprise. I’m desperate for the baby to be viable but have worried every day since I found out three weeks ago! Have booked in for a private scan next Wednesday to check that there’s a bub, and that it has a heartbeat! Time is just going really slowly though!

Ah congratulations everyone!

I've just discovered we're expecting baba number 3 and I can't really believe it! We were away just after Christmas and arrived home at 7:30am on new year's eve, and I had suspicions so I held on for the first bathroom trip of the day until I was home with a test to hand. I needed to know if I was safe to drink at the party that night!

Anyway, due late Aug / early Sept, think I'm just 6 or 7 weeks.

Thrilled to bits, but also my mind is constantly buzzing with practicals like how the hell will we all fit in the car, or the house for that matter, and how can we afford anything for the rest of our lives. I'm due a pay rise in April and was really banking on that as hubby is reducing his salary due to a role change, but now I'll be dropping down to maternity pay in the summer...

As for symptoms it's hard to say. I actually went to the doctor last year saying I had pregnancy symptoms (fatigue, fluttering in tummy, weight gain, palpitations) but negative tests and the GP did full tests, even an ultrasound and found nothing, but those symptoms have now continued for nearly a year!! So two days and three positive tests later I don't feel any different and it's all a bit odd. Delighted though!

Morning everyone! Ok if I join?

I got a bfp positive yesterday on CD 28.
I had a MMC back in May 2019 at 5W 3D so I’m very nervous too!!
Haven’t phoned GP yet for an HCG.
Last time it was positive but under 100 so GP warned me it wasn’t high enough and he was right.

Fingers crossed for us all xx

@mamaskelz I’ve got an early reassurance scan booked for next Sunday, will be almost 9 weeks by then so hopefully will be able to see something more recognisable than a blob! Anxious about it but trying to focus on the excitement insteadGrin

How is everyone feeling currently? I go back to work tomorrow after a lovely few weeks off and terrified. I run clinics and luckily will be sat in the clinic room most of the day but worried about being sick in front of patientsConfused Also have been waking up at 11 every day in the holidays so dreading putting my 6am alarm on!
