I've searched for due date thread and couldn't find one so thought I would start a new one!

I'm 4+6 and due at the very beginning of September. I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old so my hands are going to be very full lol!

Hi!

I am about 4 weeks and 3 days this will be my first if it sticks around (2 MMC and a chemical this year), so it’s all guesswork right now! In theory I’m due around 090920.
If my positive is still around will call to make a midwife referral in the new year!

I’m told September is the busiest birth month haha so I’m sure more will come along to join us :)

Do you have one of each?

Also 3 under 3/4 sounds like you will be very busy. I just have two cats!

Fingers crossed for you!

Wow I didn't realise it was the busiest month! Yeah my little girl was 3 at the beginning of November and my son was 1 at the end of November 🙊. Never planned on having more than one but feeling pretty blessed right now!

Helloo and congratulations, girls! Baby number 4 for us, currently coming out as 4+2 weeks! Can't think about anything else, it's all consuming!

Hello!
Apparently September is the busiest month due to festive sex lol!
First time pregnancy, 4+2.
feel like I’ve found out super early as found out when I was exactly 4 weeks to the day.
It was unexpected so soon but I am elated. Feeling overwhelmed and anxious, is this normal? I’m 30 and never been pregnant before. Trying to enjoy it and not see this as an anxious wait for my first scan.
X

Haha @TG2019 that’s what I had heard from the maternity hospital. Between Christmas and NYE everyone gets extra festive!
(I’m also 30!)

We all seem to be within days of each other which is nice :)

I think feeling anxious is normal as long as it’s not all consuming. I’m told the first trimester is the worst because of the need for it to be a secret. 8 weeks seems ages away to get to that first scan though!

Hello!

Got a positive test a few days ago, NHS calculator says I’m 4 weeks. My due date according to that is 6/9/20, although I would need an elective section at 39 weeks. Hoping it will be on the 1st Sep all being well!

Have one lovely DD who is 2.5.

I feel a bit anxious, and did first time around too. Used to actually be shaking going into any scans!

Ahh, I've found my people! I'm 4 +2. I have two older dc who are 13 and 10, so quite a big age gap!
I've told a few friends and my dm. I figured if the worst happens, I'll need their love and support. Unfortunately in my line of work I need to tell them asap, however I'm off now until mid January, so I've a bit of time.
Currently not feeling any symptoms. I'm feeling a bit anxious this time around. Sending lots of positive and healthy vibes to all of you!

Hi, found out on Christmas Day that I'm due 2nd September! Lovely Christmas present but I'm a bit nervous as had a TMFR at 13 weeks in July. I have a DS who is 2.5 and a real handful. I'm hoping that will be a big distraction in the early weeks until we can have tests to see if all is ok this time (should be able to find out at exactly 12 weeks if not just before) I'm currently 4 weeks 4 days. Congratulations to everyone!

It’s lovely having people to talk to - never been on a forum in my life! I’ve told a few close friends and family too only the closest who I would need if anything didnt go as planned. Had to explain to my husband as he didn’t quite understand why you don’t tell the world straight away.
I’m in a weird space of feeling so excited and not wanting to get too excited - it’s such an odd feeling.
@fizzyheart I’m the same. I work in fitness and I’ve been worrying as will have to speak to my line manager. It just feels so early to tell people at work.

Hi girls. Glad I've found a few others. Been searching last few days.
I got my bfp at 8dpo today is my period due date and going by due in calendars I'm due 9th September. I'm not letting myself get too excited. We had a mmc in October. I'm afraid to get too attached. So I'm hoping with such a early bfp this little one is a strong fighter in there.

Glad to have somewhere to post our symptoms/worries etc I always think the time between finding out and the 12 week scan goes sooooo slowly. Anyone else planning an early scan? I'm going to book one for 7 weeks. I know it's just a snap shot in time and in no guarantee that something won't go wrong but I've done it with my previous two and it always made me feel a bit better

I’m thinking about an early scan but think I’m being fussy. Are you paying private?

Report
TG2019 · 30/12/2019 12:58

When you you usually go and see your GP? Before getting pregnant I had a few health issues suspected stomach ulcer so I may possibly be sent for an early scan anyway x

Hey guys! I had my BFP on Saturday and am currently 4wks 2d so due 05.09.20 according to my LMP!
Only DH and I know so far and I’m hoping to keep it that way until 8wks when I have booked a private early scan but it feels strange that nobody else knows!
No real symptoms yet and I feel like the clock is going backwards already!

Hi everyone, congratulations to you all and fingers crossed for sticky beans!
I got a BFP yesterday and was testing early so I'm only 3+5 today, EDD should be 9th September, all being well.
I already have 1 DC, a son who will be 3 in March, so it would be a 3.5 year age gap.
I've just realised that all my maternity clothes (that I kept as I always wanted another) are for the winter 🙈

Have you all had the flu jab? I called my GP to ask about it and they said I have to see the midwife first, but my appointment won't be for another month and it seems ridiculous to wait that long for the flu jab. So I called my local supermarket pharmacy and they said I can have it there 👍

I think I will have an early scan at 6 weeks. Didn’t last time but want to this time. Will also have the harmony test & scan at 10 weeks - did that last time and found it really reassuring. As a lovely bonus get to find out the sex early too!

Report
NameChange30 · 30/12/2019 14:22

I'd love to have the harmony test and scan, for peace of mind and because I'm way too impatient to find out the sex Grin

How much does it cost?

Is everyone taking folic acid. I had a baby with severe spina bifida. So just like to make sure every takes it it's so important especially they early days

Report
Sipperskipper · 30/12/2019 14:31

Think it was about £400 - that was for a scan at 10 weeks, the blood test, then a full 12 week scan. Crazy money but we tried to skimp elsewhere (LOTS of second hand / hand me down bits!) as I was just so anxious. This time around we won’t really need to buy any baby stuff so trying to justify it that way!

Thank you @TtcanotherG. I’m actually taking a higher dose as I’m pretty overweight so a higher risk. Thanks for such an important reminder.

Sorry about your losses and your baby that had spina bifida Flowers

I'm taking folic acid and vitamin D. Last time I took pregnancy vitamins but the tablet was really big and hard to swallow, and made me a bit nauseous, so I figure folic acid and vitamin D will do (it's a tiny tablet).

Sipper
Thanks. I'll see how anxious / impatient I'm feeling but might not do it (we're doing house renovations next year and will be spending all our money on it Grin)
