Hi guys! Someone please come and keep me company! Got my bfp on Sunday after a MMC in June and a CP in Sept, I think I'm roughly 4 weeks but suspect could be slightly further as my cycles are off and I feel reeeally pregnant this time. Now I'm in utter panic mode that I'm going to start spotting/bleeding so off to the loo every 5 mins as I've had cramps for appx 10 days now. Anyone else crazy like me?!

Hi, I got a (several) BFPs this week. Think I'm due 26th August so just over 4 weeks. I got a bit obsessed with clear blue digital not changing when I thought it should have the day before yesterday but trying not to panic now.

This is my second and I haven't been through any losses but I'm still so nervous, so completely understandable that you are finding it hard not to panic! The odds are in our favour though and it's not in our control so best to try and relax - easier said than done I know!

Good morning @Autumn20 thanks for your reply! I think I am due 26th August too, how exciting, I'm already planning August bank holiday birthday parties etc 🤣 it is so hard not to worry but you have to try and chill out don't you. Last time when I had the MMC I knew something wasn't right the entire time I just had a feeling things wouldn't work out but I feel different this time. I'm getting really super strong lines every time!
Congratulations 🥰 have you got many symptoms yet? Xx

Haha my first is born in the winter so summer birthdays would be lovely! Yes, the worry is there in the back of my mind but know it's out of our control other than the obvious things. Strong lines are great! I haven't been getting as strong lines as last time but have a feeling I ovulated early last time and late this time going by when we could have conceived and the tests I did.

I've been having a few light belly cramps, back ache and boobs are feeling heavy. What about you? Congratulations to you too! 🥳

I've been having cramps for over a good week or so now @Autumn20 boobs seem bigger but not sore as such, I have a metallic taste in my mouth, back ache and I have had some awful mood swings! Pretty much covering all bases haha! Have you seen the Dr yet? I went on Thursday and have to refer to midwives this week. I will book an early scan though for reassurance, will you be booking one? Xx

I think I just self referred to the midwife at about 6 weeks last time so will ring up in the new year all being well! Lots of symptoms are nice in some ways at the start!

How many weeks are you thinking of booking one at? I think I will, but would like to try and wait until 8/9 weeks or so. I'll probably cave at 7 weeks haha.

BabyB19 · 21/12/2019 14:37

In my local one they don't take bookings until 8 weeks anyway so that will be a good thing for me haha! I self referred last time but the Dr wanted to see me this time with my history. How old is your first? @Autumn20 xx

@BabyB19 omg hi!!!!! Congratulations!!!! Just looked at this post as the title amused me, I'm still doing this and I'm 12 weeks tomorrow! How are you feeling?

Oh hi @siaa good to see you again on this side of the fence! How are you doing?
I'm ok just a nervous wreck. Got loads of cramping, nothing severe but constant. I've had a tiny spot of pink CM once yesterday and once today, but my PG tests are still strong 🤷🏽‍♀️ have you had a scan yet? X

@BabyB19 made up for you that you got your BFP for Christmas! Don't worry I think cramping and a tiny bit of blood is common, even at this point things are starting to stretch! Apparently unless it's so painful you need to take paracetamol then you're okay Smile

I'm okay thanks but also a nervous wreck, I think given what's happened to me and you in the past that's just how we're going to be!! I've had 3 scans at 5, 8 and 10 weeks, seen the heartbeat and have our first official 12 week scan tomorrow. I get absolutely terrified the night before a scan so I'm just trying to take my mind off it at the mo with some Christmas movies! Will you be able to have an early reassurance scan?

@BabyB19 ah it's so stressful isn't it. I think some light spotting can be very normal. I had it last time but closer to 12 weeks. I think especially if it's only a tiny amount I'd try not to worry too much.

My first will be 2 in a few months so will be about 2.5 age difference if all is well. Im feeling the exhaustion today so hoping that's a good sign.

Good luck for your scan @siaa!

Thank you girls @siaa @Autumn20 it's so hard not to panic isn't it, I told OH and he keeps kissing me and stuff so I know he's worried too, I definitely don't need paracetamol so fingers crossed it's ok. If I'm not offered one I will definitely just pay for one as there's no way I can wait until 12 weeks for one! I'm so glad yours have been going well @siaa that's a lovely age gap I think @Autumn20 ❤️🥰

Hope your scan went well @siaa!

Hi @Autumn20 I've had literally one spot a day 😭🤣 hardly seems worth mentioning tbh but the fact it was there at all just worried me, I'm still getting strong positives on the tests and no proper bleed just the odd spot and mild cramps, I think I'm 5 weeks+ now as well so hoping that means it's good and implanted! How are you doing?
Any updates on the scan @siaa hope it all went well for you xx

That sounds positive! Hope you can relax over Christmas. Yes doing good thanks. Quite tired and sore boobs but okay otherwise.

Are you keeping it a secret over Christmas?

I spoke too soon I've started having a bit more bleeding today. Still very minimal but I don't think things are looking good tbh 🤦🏽‍♀️ my family will know as soon as I'm not drinking so I'm not going to be able to keep it quiet really, are you? @Autumn20

Sorry to hear that @BabyB19, it doesn't mean the worst automatically though. Maybe you can get in at the Early Pregnancy Unit in the new year so you don't have to wait as long for a first scan?

Yes I've told the close family I'm spending tomorrow with but a very low key announcement. Easier than trying to hide it over Christmas isn't it!

Very much so @Autumn20 I know there is still hope but I need to be realistic and not get too excited when there's a chance that it may not go to plan. I'm going to see which way the tests go through this week and phone on Friday ☺️ x

Oh amazing news @siaa how far are you measuring etc?
Still had the odd spot but it's a really measly amount and my tests are still definitely strong lines so I'm not too worried for now thank you. How are you doing @Autumn20 I've felt a bit sick today for the first time xx

Glad you had a good scan @siaa! And great the spotting hasn't got any worse @BabyB19, sounds positive!

Yes all good thanks. I've been a bit under the weather with a viral type thing and had a few light stabby pains in my stomach last night which had me a bit worried but nothings come of it. Still got sore boobs but no other symptoms yet! I think the nausea hit me a bit later with #1 so sure it's all to come if things continue to go well!

Sorry @Autumn20 I thought I replied! Hope you're feeling a little better now ☺️ are you feeling tired yet? I can't stop sleeping! I'm getting around 10 hours a night and yesterday I had TWO NAPS! It's unheard of as I'm a rubbish sleeper! Xx
