Marking place.

Curly how scary but glad all is ok, definitely better to be on the safe side in these things.

Jacque shall be thinking of you today and checking in for an update once you’ve had your scan. Hope you got some sleep last night.

Toomany YES with the insomnia. I had it throughout with dd but have only just started this week but I’m awake multiple times every night for ages, I just want to sleep!

Yes I've got real trouble sleeping through the night as well. Sunday and Monday nights seem to be the worst what makes work on Mondays and Tuesdays just unbearable :(

Morning all. Marking my place.

Also had a horrendous night with an up with food poisoning from 11 till 3. Toddler woken several times by his throwing up which seemed to echo throughout the whole house!

Woken up feeling sick myself (the morning kind) but because I'm so tired it's going to be 10 times worse today.

Jacque Jacque, fingers crossed for some positive news xx

5.30 is not waking up time. DD refused to go back to her own bed and instead climbed into ours when I got up to put her back to bed. So I ended up in her room, in the toddler bed, with the huge lump of a dog. She has since decided that a blanket on the floor of comfier than my bed, but I was trapped under the dog until I could roll him out of bed at 6am.

We have now got up and had porridge and she has played with her train set. It's going to be a long day as taking a friend out tonight to the cinema as a surprise (organised by her husband!).

Morning all; thanks so much for your well wishes. I was also up at 3am, bloody insomnia!

Have woken today to no bleeding, and have sore boobs and slight nausea. Just have to wait for the phone call today and hope nothing starts up in the meantime. I'm currently feeling really paranoid about pain - feel like I'm waiting for the slightest twinge.

Curly that must have been scary. Don't feel like a fraud though as Croup can be dangerous and children are hospitalised for it (sucking in chest etc). That cough really is a horrible sound isn't it.

JacqueJacque good to hear there's been no more bleeding and keeping everything crossed for you.

another one with insomnia here. Had it all the way through last time but, for the most part, have been managing it with going to bed really early so that even if I'm awake for a couple of hours in the night I'm still getting up to 7hrs. DS gets up between 5-5:30 so I have to start early. Totally failed last night and didn't switch off until 10:30. Error. Zzzz

Sorry to hear so many others are suffering with sleep problems too...
And @jacquejacque that sounds much more positive. Was thinking of you and wondering if you managed to sleep much...Thanks

Morning! I was awake at 3am too but tried not to look on my phone as it wakes me up more!

Got our nhs nuchal test results (not sure what they are called) yesterday in the post and it’s low risk so I’m telling more family now. They took my bloods thurs morning and we had the letter through mon morning just for reference on how long it took for others waiting.

@jacquejacque Ring them if you don’t hear from them within the first hour of them opening. Good luck today!

Thanks for new thread Sasseh.

Jacque
really hope things are ok.

I've got another EPU scan today at 10:40 after weight loss from HG. Nervous already! Hoping it'll show healthy baby at 11+2.

Just marking my place and saying good morning to you all. @jacquejacque, thanks for keeping us updated. Hoping you get your good news today.

I’m 14 weeks tomorrow and can hardly believe it. Still waiting on the NT results though so feel like I can’t tell everyone that I would like.

Is anyone doing a gender scan? I hadn’t planned on it, but after the failed Harmony test thought we might want to do one for a bit of good news.

Thanks everyone, he’s absolutely fine, just got a hell of a cough. Bloody scary this morning tho, he was all floppy and grey and breathing with his tummy. Half an hour after they got here he was picking his nose for laughs. Which is a relief. Good luck for scans everyone today, I’m back in tomoro to see if blood pressure is more managed (tho it must be sky high after tonight’s antics!)

Place marking. Had a really rough couple of days with nausea headaches and tiredness/insomnia. Hoping this was the peak and it will be getting better very soon (10+6 today).

Goodluck today @jacquejacque.

Hope today goes well @jacquejacque

Marking place- and another hands up for insomnia, followed by waking up to a graphic dream of passing (MC) my baby in a public toilet - shudder. Have had a small amount of brown spotting/discharge and some sharp twinges (but not unbearable) since Friday - my scan is next week and my nerves are getting frayed with the wait. Not sure whether to call midwife.

gah. Waves to everyone else!

I've been watching since the first thread but haven't commented too much!

Due end of June.

10 weeks this week and my symptoms have just dropped off over the last week, anyone else had the same or should I be worried? First midwife appointment tomorrow!

Thanks xx

Report
lstef · 27/11/2018 09:14

@wanderlustgirl - my symptoms have tailed off since Friday - have still felt rough late at night - I'm hoping it's just cos I'm 11+2 and not cos of anything bad.

Midwife suggested I ring the mat unit for an early scan (see above post re:spotting and twinges), I'm terrified!

Thanks @lstef hopefully everything is ok for us both! I'm super annixious about it all and maybe will ask for an earlier scan so I know!

toasterstrudle · 27/11/2018 09:33

@lstef it's worth phoning - I phoned them to discuss concerns about my weight loss and they just said to come in for a scan, I haven't had any spotting but I know they scan for that too. It might put your mind at ease.

Hi all, hope you're all okay, thinking of you today @jacquejacque

Had my first scan yesterday, turns out I'm 12 weeks and 3 today, due June 8th.

All is well with baby, they were sat up though so sonographer found it difficult to take measurements, she made me go for a walk for 10 mins and come back! She got there in the end though.

We told my 5 year old son last night and he was just thrilled. He took a picture in today and showed his friends and his teacher, it was one of those 'I wish my eyes could record film' moments! He is so excited. We got him to tell our parents last night, my MIL was thrilled but my mum changed the subject and showed me her new fish tank! My dad asked me who the father was, typical dad banter. My sisters (who are much older than me at 40 and 43) were really thrilled though. So yeah! A mixed bag of reactions here, but I'm hoping everyone gets over the shock eventually. Tomorrow I have the worst one of all, telling my manager!

Thinking of you all today, have a great day. X
