(6 Posts)Hello :-)
I live in Hemel Hempstead but am giving birth in Luton & Dunstable Hospital.
I met my midwife on Thursday who said that although I’m in watford catchment area because I’m not giving birth there I can’t go to their antenatal classes but Luton has said that although I’m going there for care I don’t pay tax in Luton and so can’t go there.
Is there anyone else based in West Herts that’s gone to Beds for maternity that can help please?
Can you afford to do NCT? They are set up pretty much everywhere.
No, the course I messaged about with NCT was £250 and I just don’t have that.
I’m just hitting brick walls between the two care trusts and is frustrating when there must be someone who can pick me up?
Contact your local children's centre, in some areas they run classes but if not they'll know where to point you.
Thank you. I’ll google some and go from there.
Nct do sometimes offer subsidises depending on your income.. worth checking out?
