Halfway! Woo!
Hello! Hope everyone is OK today xxx
Thank you - and thanks for the helpful replies in the previous thread re measurements. I'll try not to worry and just be grateful that he or she has all fingers and toes
Hey all marking a spot
Marking my place 🙌🏽
@twiglet thanks so much for your post on the other thread. The MW actually got back to me within 45 mins! It turns out that our trust have a drop in physio clinic at the hospital on the first Friday of the month so I can pop in next Friday which isn't too far away luckily. I think a lot of it is down to my lack of core strength, if I suck my stomach in I can feel the pelvis adjusting back and the pain goes.
@Fredthespider that is good! It sucks to have it but hopefully if you can get exercises to help you can get in control of it. I would also try to get a belt from them if you can I was amazed at the difference when standing! It doesn't take it away but feels loads better!
Place marking! Lovely news on all the scans.
@maxiflump1 OMG that's amazing. But also freaked out!
Hello again, thought I’d lost you all!
Still 9 days until my scan! Feel like time has stood still a little!
We were thinking about attempting to get our kitchen redone before bub arrives but now seems like that’ll be impossible. Also the cost estimates were a massive slap in the face so not sure what to do now!
In other news I’ve bought a few maternity bits on eBay. Worried about having enough warm things for winter!
@powkin we're just committed to having our kitchen done, luckily they want to start as soon as possible and it's quite a small kitchen so finger crossed it'll be done before I'm on maternity leave. We had to shave a few things we wanted off to get a more realistic quote, but it still seems like so much money to spend just before the baby comes!
We've lived with our current kitchen for a year and it's so ancient that it's falling apart! So that's how I'm justifying it.
It's frustrating having a winter pregnancy with all the extra clothes we have to buy! I feel the cold easily so always invest in being warm, but it feels wrong to buy a coat for just a few months wear, I think I'll look at eBay too.
@maxiflump1 that is a cool scan pic! Our scan went well but the picture is rubbish! Worse than the 12 week one! Did you find out the baby's gender?
@Rowse I was pregnant during the winter in my last pregnancy too. I didn't buy a maternity coat but I found that TK Maxx did some sort of crosses between coats and cloaks (sounds very odd I know!) that were perfect for pregnancy and were very reasonably priced. I'd recommend trying there.
@Katinkak8 yep it's a boy! DS who is 3 will be very happy as he's been telling us for weeks he doesn't want a baby sister! I'm happy to be surrounded by males: even Ddog is a boy!!
hi ladies!!!
few days till my scan too!!cannot wait - ths time has flown from 12 weeks - dragged until then!!
hope your all ok x

@Rowse - our kitchen doesn’t seem big but seems to be when it comes to price. John Lewis were doing free planning in September so we wanted to get them to do a plan for us at least. Ikea have been useless, I think their planner has gone off sick. Once we’ve got JL plan think we’ll try a few cheaper places.
Some of my jumpers still and are quite roomy so hopefully I’ve got a bit of time! I also have a coat that crosses over and ties in the middle so hope that will help!
Hi all, have been really busy at work so not really keeping up.
My scan is on Monday, I’ll be 20+6. I’m feeling quite a lot of movement even though it’s my first which is nice
There’s an 18wk wait for physio in my area! So I’m thinking of paying for a couple of private sessions. Could do without the expenditure tho tbh.
@maxiflump1 @Katinkak8 sounds like everything went well with your scans - amazing, congrats! All is good with my twins - and I found it is two boys! It's a bumper day for boys today got some lovely pics of twin1 but twin2 was not cooperative at all - could be a sign of things to come!
@AnnieBee2 and @maxiflump1 wow congratulations on your boys! Lovely news!
