Hi November buddies. I had the most awful nights sleep. Could not get comfy Sad I’ve decided I’m going to have to invest in the biggest bed I can do hopefully DP will stop moving into my side in the night. I had to elbow him at least 15 times last night Angry

Marking my place! Sorry you had a crap night @meredithshepherd ! My DP came in at 1 and turned all the lights on, could've killed him! My nausea seems to be subsiding with dd I remember week 9 being particularly bad, it's so hard to know whether to worry or not Confused doesn't help that I still haven't had a date through for my scan. Boobs still hurt and I'm so tired I feel like my legs are made of concrete, I'm convinced it's a boy as I feel so different. Hope you all have good Sundays I've got to sort out my seeds in the greenhouse that have germinated and walk my dogs, I lead an exciting life!

Joining the new thread! I thankfully slept ok last night but I’m feeling really yuck again today. This is day 3 of it and I don’t know if morning sickness has hit (I’m about 6+4) or if I have a touch of labyrinthitis that I’ve had in the past.....got a busy week at work this week and if I still feel like this I’m wondering how i’ll cope!

Potkettleblack2 · 08/04/2018 07:46

Morning! I'm also convinced I'm carrying a boy-simple because I didn't get a BFP until 4 days after my period was due (even with FRERs) and the same happened with my DS. With DD I tested positive at a 'normal' time. We won't be finding it so it's a bit silly for me to speculate!

Marking my place, sorry bad night @MeredithShepherd. Maybe time to put some extra pillows in the bed to keep your space 😉

I've woken up really hungry so feeling sick as a result might have to bring a biscuit to bed with me to nibble when wake in early hours perhaps.

Yep week 8+4 for me and definitely reached my lowest point of crappy. Feel tired, lethargic, sick and bloated all day and keep waking up at 4am?! Which is not helping the exhaustion. When does the sickness usually end? I didn't suffer like this with my first two - maybe a boy this time?! Grin

Morning all, marking my place. @meredithshepherd sleep and I haven't been getting on recently, but can't stay awake after about 10ish. Bit worried about going back to work tomorrow after a week off on annual leave, but maybe the focus will help.... Wishing you all a good day.

Ps. Actual LOL @ fanny daggers 🤣

Morning ladies! Woke up starving hungry but actually had 8 hours sleep (between getting up to wee!) I'm so lucky I've had no sickness yet, but can't stop eating. 7w7d today. Nothing worse than getting bad nights sleep and any DH that comes in and turns lights on in middle of night needs serious words! Poor you!

Place marking.

Sorry you all slept badly. I managed a curry and to stay up until 2030! That’s party central at the mo!

Well according to this very scientific chart, I'm having a boy. Let's see if that is the case.

There is another theory based on which side the placenta is on. I'll have a wee look for that. Have I mentioned that I am slowly driving myself insane. This 2 week wait is excruciatingly sllloooowwwww

Morning! Still very sickly here but I think and hope it's easing off. Fingers crossed. Still very very tired all the time though. I wish I could tell people because friends want to meet up next week but I can't tell them the real reason I can't and I feel bad for my DD. I'm in no fit state to be going out atm and I'd give the game away with the sickness and nausea instantly. Sigh. Hope in the next few weeks I'll be better and I can tell them.

Morning ladies

10 weeks today @TheImprobableGirl @Emelene

I wonder if we will stay due date buddies or if It will all change after scans....

Morning ladies! I'm 10 weeks today and feeling really well so that's making me feel positive. Smile I'm looking forward to getting the ball rolling and having my booking appointment on Thursday.

We've told close family over the last couple of weekends as we live a few hours drive away and wanted to tell them face to face. I've had some lovely reactions from both sides! They're under strict orders not to tell the world till the 12 week scan though.

Has anyone else got a really strong hunch on what they're having? I won't be finding out but I feel that it's most likely a boy and so does my DH!

Ooh technically a quarter of the way there Wink

@GiveMummyTheWhizzer Grin yes cross posts. I'm really delighted to have made it to 10 weeks, I hope I can keep the positivity up (and not turn back into an anxious wreck!)

My early scan did say EDD 5th November but I figured I'd wait until the dating scan to adjust it from the 4th. I think it would be awesome to have a Guy Fawkes birthday? Easy to remember and lots of fireworks and celebrations going on!

@TinyPawz according to that chart I’m having a boy too! And it’s also correct for DS. Weird!

Ah love that thinking - quarter of the way there! Sorry to everyone who's not sleeping well. I'm actually a heavier sleeper now for some reason, I'm not even hearing poor DS! Luckily DH does.

I'm feeling far too emotional today - back to work after mat leave next week (although not for long admittedly). Scan on 20th April - a week on Friday! Really excited and shitting myself in equal measures. Looking forward to getting an official EDD, lmp suggests 1st Nov but we'll see.

Thanks for new thread @olderthanyouthink !

That dress is lovely @MeredithShepherd! I'm trying to hide mine in non-maternity dresses for work, hoping to not tell them until after the 20 week scan but that seems very unlikely at the rate I'm expanding!

I'm going to the loft for my maternity clothes today. I had wanted to wait until after my 12 week scan, but I can't!

@MeredithShepherd looking good! I've got a bump popping out here at 11 weeks but not brave enough to post it! I have a slight hunch on boy but I'm not very sure either way, I keep changing my mind. I knew DD was a girl first time as I had a very very strong feeling about it. This pregnancy is very different to last time but that is likely not to mean anything!

Was looking at H&M maternity clothes online last night and I think I'm going to have to order some bits soon as all my clothes are winter clothes from last time and things just feel a bit too tight now. I wanted to hold off for longer but I don't have any comfortable clothes now. Bottoms are starting to dig in and tops have got tight on the front because of boobs unless they were baggy already.

Last time I liked New Look for jeans but that was 4 years ago.... Where is good for jeans if you're short of leg?! I liked the over bump ones last time when I got bigger and I was able to pull the under bump ones up over the little bump until I got bigger but not sure that'll work this time!!!!! I'm a short arse so need short legs. Also would like some stretchy dresses so might pop into H&M and see what they've got in normal ranges that's stretchy. Handy for afterwards too with tights haha!

I've just filled up the old thread with the same message on the last 8 spaces so no one posts on there. I did that once and couldn't work out why no one had replied haha!
