Hi again.

I've had next to no symptoms during my pregnancy (7+4) but my heart rate did rise up to about 71bpm at its highest.
My highest pre pregnancy was 61, and since the 71 it's been dropping rapidly until today my heart rate dropped below 61 for the first time ever since I got my BFP.
Please reassure me it's not a bad sign.

Found you all!

aspenn so sorry to hear about the twin. If it's any help I was on a mn thread when pregnant with my DD in 2014 and one of the mum's on there had the same happen. Our Facebook group is still going strong now and her boy is a cheeky strong amazing 3.5yr old! Stay strong and look after yourself.

I have my annual appraisal with my boss on Friday when I'll be 6+4. Deliberating telling him! Want to for so many reasons but also don't as I'm not sure he'll keep it to himself.

My gosh my boobs are so painful at the moment. DD ran at me for a hug today and I screamed in pain! She was a bit shocked!

That's for starting the new thread boat! I went to check the old one and saw we reached 1k!

I'm sorry I've got nothing reassuring to say Fairfax I have no clue on the correlation between being pg and heart bpm, hopefully it's nothing and it's just your body adjusting to everything. If you panic yourself your bpm will shoot right back up again

I'm tempted to think my cramps were constipation related...been passing wind quite a bit tonight and the bleeding seems to have settled to a v light spotting. I've not once leaked on to a pad though so docs are never concerned. I just freak out every damn time. So I apologise ladies cos I feel that's I all I complain about on here!

Aspen so sorry to hear about your loss and it's lovely to hear about your healthy baby too.

Take care of yourself and let yourself grieve the loss of your twin

aspenn It's not silly at all. I've had a scan at 6+5, 8+2 and 9+4 and have another booked for 10+5. Now that might be over the top! Blush

Just placemarking on the new thread. I'm 8+5 today and have my third scan tomorrow. This is my 5th pregnancy and never got this far so feeling really nervous.

Thanks for the new thread!

Understandable that you're feeling a bit all over the place Aspen, give yourself time to wrap your head around it. It is fantastic that you have a healthy baby in there though. Flowers

Best of luck for the scan Harriet, making it the furthest you have yet sounds promising.

I had my scan yesterday at 8+4, all is as it should be thankfully. My symptoms have eased a bit, so I was a worried. But one baby, where it should be and we could see the heart beating away. I've attached the picture. Well worth the reassurance!

Placemarking on thread. Awful night with toddler last night so just want to get through today without being a blubbering mess.

Good luck with your scan tomorrow Harriet can't imagine how hard it is to get through one day to the next.

To the other 10+ ladies, did you say that you'd started to feel a bit more normal this week?

I'm still tired but my nausea has died down and my boobs hurt less, wondering if this is because of the placenta taking over?

Report
Sam91TRS15 · 05/09/2017 11:56

mrsd my boobs are definitely less sore/big, although I feel possibly slightly more nauseas, but I think that's due to my vomiting episode on Friday which turns out to have been a bug (poor DP ended up throwing up at work on Sunday). So hoping my nausea starts to fade soon!

Yes @MrsDneedsaB
all symptoms have chilled out but I had a scan only yesterday and everything's ok in there. My nips are still sore and I'm a bit tired but no sickness, nausea or extreme tiredness!! Hallelujah ha

Harriet sending extreme positive vibes for you for tomorrow!

Congratulations Liv! I felt my scan was worth every penny for the reassurance and now just trying to stop myself from booking another one before 12 weeks 🙈

I'm 10 weeks today and the nausea is definitely easing. Tired but just back at work (I'm a teacher) so could also be that. My symptoms eased around 10 weeks last pregnancy too.

Mine went almost completely last week, however after a weekend of awful sleep so far this week I'm back to feeling very nauseous again. Trying to catch up on sleep this week but work keeps getting in the way. I'm 11 weeks on Thursday

MrsDneedsaB · 05/09/2017 14:58

I'm so glad I'm not the only one, I never really had terrible nausea tbh only on a couple of occasions but it was there mildly throughout the day. Looks like I spoke too soon about my boobs though ha got some pain right now! I'll be 11 weeks on Sunday.

Do you all have your dates for your 12 week scan? I'm still waiting for my scan date to come in the post - getting a little impatient.

Report
Sam91TRS15 · 05/09/2017 15:06

My 12 week scan is on the 19th, it arrived just days after my appointment (although I had my appointment at 6+2 because I worked out my dates wrong), so hopefully doesn't take too long to come through for you?
How is everyone with cravings? I really want powerade, it's what I lived off by the end of my 1st pregnancy and I cannot find it anywhere.. I don't know how healthy they are but I'm struggling to not have a crazy preggo fit over not getting what I want...

9+1 for me today (after early scan last week!). All parents and siblings know now. Wedding brought forward a few months (November 2017 instead of March 2018). My parents will have their first grandchild in February (my sister's 1st) and their second in April (mine!).

Symptoms still pretty rough including a very sore hip on my left side. Hoping they will ease up soon.

fitbitbore · 05/09/2017 15:40

I'll be 11 weeks on Monday and 12 week scan is on the 22nd!

My scan is in October. We are lucky here, when you phone to self-refer, you get your 8 week appointment and scan appointment booked at the same time

Report
MrsDneedsaB · 05/09/2017 16:01

Wow you all know your scan dates....I might chase up with the GP, my midwife appointment was so long she may have told me I had to do something and I completely forgot about it Blush

Thelostsock · 05/09/2017 16:14

Mine is on the 15th and I can't wait! Am going to avoid telling work for as long as possible, probably will tell them around week 15 as legally I have to, if I can hide it until then
The second the scan is completed and hopefully everything is fine we'll be telling friends. At the moment only my parents and siblings know, telling DHs this weekend
