(2 Posts)I've just found out I'm pregnant. I'm high risk as my first baby was born at 31wks due to pre-e and cholestasis. Before getting pregnant I saw the consultant to discuss it. He said I would be consultant lead from the beginning, have an early scan and put on aspirin from approx 7wks.
Just left my gp feeling even more worried and unconfident. He's referring me to the midwife, even though I told him I didn't see them until 9wks last time and I'm meant to be having an early scan so I can be put on aspirin. After snapping at him he's said he'd find out whether he refers me to the consultant or the midwife does and if they can see me earlier, basically he doesn't seem to know what to do!
Think I'm going to be swapping to a different gp next week!!
Anyone else high risk?
Just realised I put this in the wrong section! Sorry!! 🙄
