I popped on and said hi, but it already seems well established I didn't get much response so thought I'd just make a fresh one :)! I think I'll be due around Jan 10th so not long after you!

Thank you, I did to but they seem already established so I'll join you if that's ok?!

I've just spoken to the midwifes and hoping for a booking in apt next week. How about you?

Hi there I'm also due early Jan. Found out last Saturday and been on cloud 9 ever since! I have PCOS and had to take clomid tablets to help ovulation but it worked first time and so here we are!

Am super nervous though. Lots of people I know (especially PCOS ladies) have miscarried early, so I want to be happy but want to keep my feet on the ground only being just under 6 weeks.

Have you guys told anyone yet?

Congratulations SummerHopin! First time too?! I've heard of a some success stories of woman with PCOS, usually after some meds which was probably clomid but I'm not sure. Do you have to have an early scan then?

I've told two of my friends, one for advice about which midwife to go to and the other as she had fertility issues and twins with ivf. I don't plan on telling anyone else yet though. I'm an older mum now (I have a 16, 15 and 5 yr olds!) so I'm trying to avoid the 'are you mad' type reactions!! How about you two?

Hi Rabbit yes it was clomid. I struggled to ovulate on my own but once we had a bit of a push we seemed to get there straight away. It is our first and we have been trying for just over a year (I didnt know I had PCOS until we started ttc). I'm 32 just - I met my DH a bit later in life so always thought I've had had all my kids by now! Funny how life goes isnt it.

We have had to battle with lots of worries that getting pregnant could take years so although its only been 1 year so far that has been hell. I know everyone always says it but this means so much to me that I am so desperate for it to work out.

We should get an early scan because we had clomid to assis ovulation. If we are not offered one though (they might think that first time successes count as more normal than assisted) I think I will get a private one.

Well you should have your scan soon then if your 6wks, seeing the heart beat will reassure you x

Just found out yesterday (5th may) I am about 4 weeks pregnant using a first response test. So excited 🎉🎉🎉

But donated blood on the 4th may not knowing I was pregnant, I'm worried this might affect my baby. Does anyone have any advice? Do you think it will affect this pregnancy.
Thanks in advance 😊

Rabbits I'm going to do a digital when he is back. Very excited to tell him.

user pregnant or breast feeding women are not permitted to give blood for their safety as they are more likely to suffer adverse reactions like fainting, however as you have already donated and are ok it will be nothing to worry about and will not have harmed your baby. ps I work in blood transfusions

Is anyone due 14th jan?

I get hyperemesis (extreme sickness/vomiting) so I am hoping and praying it doesn't get me this time Sad unlikely but I can hope!

Afternoon all..lovely day here. I hope your all able to enjoy some sun, I'm sure it is very therapeutic for us all!

JB it's great to have an expert on board! I'm symptom spotting today so may have to retest at some point, although I'm off to the mw on thur so may hold off until then.

flossyfloss I don't know how I'd cope with extreme sickness, I'm not a pleasant pregnant lady as it is as I hate feeling uncomfortable! Can they give you any medication for that? Fingers crossed you don't get it this time x

I'm due around 5-8th depends on which calculator i use

How are you guys working out your due date?
I hope you don't get that terrible sickness again flossy. When did it start in your last pregnancy?

flossy I really hope you don't get HG again. Does it start quite early on?

I have had tender breasts and err some extra gas delightful
When DH got home from stag do we did a digital together so got a nice 2-3 weeks on the digi and DH was excited despite the hangover 😂

I used a due date calculator dangle however I'm not using the date of my last period as I ovulate late so using the day after my positive OPK as conception date.

Hello ladies,

I would like to invite all of you to the January 18 group, as it is lovely to be with a big group of ladies all going through the same phase of pregnancy. Hope to see you there!

Thanks fattycow I've posted and said hello Smile

Generally the sickness starts about 5.5 weeks. Dreading it! Seeing the gp this week and will hopefully get some preemptive meds!
