And mine!!! How are you both feeling? I've got a headache and sore boobs. Was a bit worried yesterday as took a test which was marginally lighter than the first but my pregnancy symptoms seem to be getting stronger and I've had no bleeding at all.
My stats
No DC
Previous miscarriage at 6 weeks
31 years old
No health issues

Hi! Nice to meet you both. I have one dc who is 16 months. Still breastfeeding so boobs are going crazy when I do but otherwise haven't noticed any boob sensitivity.
I'm a bit of a poas addict so have been testing morning and night since bfp a few days ago and gradually getting darker. I am bloated and very hungry but I am both of those things most of the time so not sure it's pregnancy related Grin

Oh I forgot, I'm 29 and no health issues.

Congratulations!

This is DC no.3 for me. 2months ttc, I'm 31, no health issues.
So far I've had a couple of days of terrible headaches which is very unusual for me, nothing else to report yet..
Hopefully we can use this thread for symptom spotting and support over the next few weeks and months.

Forgot to mention I've been having some very very odd dreams, I seem to get lots of those when I'm pregnantHmm

Report
Thingymaboob · 04/05/2017 07:20

Funnily enough I've been getting terrible headaches and very vivid dreams. It was one of the signs which made me think I was pregnant. I'm not poasing as I got a lighter one and it made me very upset and anxious so I'm going to wait until Friday. Obviously if I have any bleeding I'll pee earlier.

I would be due 13th Jan. Only symptom has been so tired since avout 5dpo. I've had a small amount of pink spotting every day so feeling nervous. Tests are getting darker though another POAS addict here

I got my first very early bfp yesterday although had a squinter on Thursday. Another darker bfp this morning but af isn't due until Thursday, so very tentative. Would be due either 15th or 18th Jan depending on whether I use probable ovulation date or last period.

Welcome to everyone. I stopped poasing for a few days as my lines were getting lighter but I took another one (bottom one) and it's darker and came up straight away!

Just got my BFP! Due January 10th!

Yay thingy! That must feel like a relief x

That must be a huge relief thingy! The darkness of those lines feels so important right now but sure there's a lot that can influence it. Glad today's was darker again!

Yes purplechoc I'm pleased. It doesn't stop me from worrying about everything though!

It's so difficult to relax isn't it. I'm so early that I just keep thinking today I'm pregnant, let's see what happens tomorrow, and if it doesn't stick, we know that we can conceive so that at least is positive.
Have you told anyone/thought about when you might?

Report
Thingymaboob · 06/05/2017 21:59

I've told family, a few close friends and my team at work. I had a miscarriage last time and I was really glad I told people early because people were very supportive when it ended. I was amazed at how my openness made other women open up about their own miscarriages. I think it would have been quite lonely if I hadn't shared. I will absolutely never ever announce anything pregnancy related on Facebook. Personally, I hate it for many different reasons.
How are you feeling? Any symptoms?

Sorry for your previous loss, that makes a lot of sense! I've only told one friend so far and obviously my DP. I've read too much on here before about chemical pregnancies so at least want to get passed my missed period before we tell anyone else. We said maybe if we got to 6 weeks we would tell our parents and my sister as we live far from then and should see them around that point. Might be more convinced to tell people after next week though as talking in lots of 'ifs' right now!
Ive got a few symptoms, woke up this morning with a really sore back which lasted a few hours, got a hot water bottle and it got rid after a while. Then have slightly sore and heavy feeling boobs and a bit of nausea. What about you?

Thingymaboob · 06/05/2017 22:38

I feel tired and I've got sore boobs.
I've also been very impatient with DH. Everything he does seems to annoy me at the moment!

Hi ladies, can I join this thread please? The main Jan babies one is pretty busy and I get very easily lost in huge threads!

I'm 31, ttc#1 and got my BFP after just over a year of trying about 10 days ago. I have PCOS and so was struggling to ovulate on my own, but my very first round of clomid gave me an egg and then a BFP so we are very very lucky in that respect as some people have been trying for years. DH sperm is clearly very quick! :)

Per my calcs I'm due 6th Jan but got an early scan on 23rd May (as this is a clomid BFP) so will get a better idea then.

I am very aware that ladies with PCOS have a higher rate of early MC so trying to keep my feet on the ground with this, but also this is such a huge achievement just to know that I work properly to get pregnant in the first place means I'm on cloud 9!......secretly that is, as not telling anyone!

Would love some company and symptom sharing in these early secret days.

Welcome @SummerHopin. Im across on the main January page too but happy to keep this one going as well!

Congrats on your BFP! It's hard to get your head around isn't it, trying to stay calm and not get ahead of yourself. Good that you get an early scan and that's not too far away either, even though days drag at this point!

I've only told DP and one friend and have known for a week. I'm a bit nervous about telling anybody else for some reason! So with you on the secret keeping for now!

Thanks purplechoc - I seem to remember your username from another thread a while back but I cant quite place it. Nice to chat to you again though and congrats to you too on your BFP.

My DH and I have told my parents (because they knew about my PCOS and our struggle) but no one else. Its hard because some of my friends have been really lovely through all this and I feel bad keeping it from them now - i just want the next few weeks to go by so we can share the news and get excited properly! :)

p.s. My symptoms seem to have disappeared though. I had real thirst, fatigue and sore boobs plus a bloated tummy but all have calmed down now. I keep pressing my boobs now and then to see if they hurt! lol!

Report
purplechoc · 11/05/2017 17:04

I've not been around for too long, just a couple of months and mostly as a lurker so may be a similar username!

I'm sure all your friends will understand when you do tell them! I knew a friend was trying recently but she told us at 9 weeks, everyone understood why and it was still early then!

Yes I'd like to get the next few weeks done too. We're going to have an early scan, hopefully on 27th as going on holiday shortly after so would like some reassurance before we go away. I'm so nervous about telling close family, I don't have much reason to be as it's not the worst timing ever but maybe not completely perfect timing!

Hi summer congratulations!
I am on the main thread as well but also get a bit lost!! I try to keep up Grin
I've not told anybody yet except one friend who I am being a bridesmaid for in July and that was because she was wanting my measurements for the dress so had to really!! I don't really want to tell anyone else. I don't know why. This is my second baby and last time I couldn't wait to tell everyone.
Some days I feel really sick and other days I have no symptoms at all...it's a bit unnerving! But last time I had no symptoms whatsoever.
I've also got an early scan booked on the 28th when I will be nearly 8 weeks.

Symptoms have totally gone. I even tested again today just to make sure I hadnt made it all up! Confused We've been waiting for this for so long i just cant help worrying that it might all come crashing down and we'll be back at square 1.

Hows everyone else? You guys still about? x
