Clothes tips for hiding a bump at work?

I'm 9 weeks pregnant with twins....it's not a first pregnancy and it's already visible....to DH and me at least. For political reasons, I really need to keep it under wraps until the end of January. Can anybody recommend some good, flattering and disguising office wear? I work in quite a smart environment - not quite City suits, but tailored trousers or skirts and tops.

On the upside, I lost a stone and a half over the course of last year, so colleagues may just assume it's all gone south again over Christmas!

Black dress, blazer, scarf worked for me. I got through several job interviews at over 20 weeks like that.

Congratulations!

I hid my (singleton but huge) bump until 13 weeks by wearing tailored maternity trousers (Isabella Oliver and Seraphine both very good - check eBay for bargains) with smart, loose fitting but not baggy / floaty tops. I also used a nice scarf where I could.

I'm sure people guessed, but I didn't give a shit really.

Hi Eurochick, how did it go finding a job whilst pregnant... then telling new employer? I'm 11 weeks pregnant and have just been made redundant so will have to find a new job asap, am really worried about finding a job whilst pregnant (fingers crossed I do) and hiding it for a couple of months.. then about what the new employer's reaction will be..... if anyone else has experienced this, any advice would be welcomed :)

Scarves, some scoop / interesting necklines to detract. If possible tunic/ flare type tops - loose.

My colleague hid her twin pregnancy until 15 weeks from most people mainly through the use of scarves. She also made more effort with her hair and eye makeup as well as wearing brighter lipstick than normal to draw people's eyes up and away from the bump. Plus she spent a lot of time sitting behind her desk which helped Grin

Empire line and belted dresses that go fitted and belted above the bump, then flare out (skater dress type silhouette) are the way I'm going. I didn't tell anyone at work til 17 weeks last time, and only one person had guessed. Also hoping for more tips as second time round I am already a bit thick round the middle at 7 weeks!

I've ways thought that a waterfall cardigan would be good for this, if you could get away with it.

Blazer and scarf seem to be working for me at the moment! Also agree with loose fitting and not baggy tops too.
