Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 41st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 41sr grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 55th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. (Except it's not because I don't know how to link to the stats sheet!)

I got the ovia app - I'm growing a butternut squash apparently

Report
honeysucklejasmine · 04/12/2015 08:31

See that's what I don't get Thursday. A butternut squash is generally bigger than an aubergine. I think these different apps need to sort themselves out.

Lillian best of luck today! Can't wait to see MiniLil again! Grin

True Honey I think it's made by people with a very vague understanding of veg! One of the options for me today was a crepe suzette. Flat and triangular.

I would rather they just listed average dimensions tbh. Easier, don't have to worry about the size of the vegetables available in the UK.

Well yes, another one I saw said a scallion - which to the best if my knowledge is a spring onion.
Also a squash is really heavy!

Anyways, whatever it is it seems happy enough today.

I ran my name choices past DS antenatal group last night and they got the thumbs up.

Listening to an Xmas playlist to get me in the mood for Santa Xmas Smile

Also a friend passed on a load of maternity clothes yesterday- there were only a few things I liked/fitted but I feel like I've got a whole new wardrobe!

How is it possible to be running 30 minutes late, when my appointment is at 8.45?! Really?! I am not happy, need to get to work!

Report
SecondCupOfTea · 04/12/2015 09:17

Yes Mermaid I thought that, but that opened up a whole new can of worms, as DP and I argued whether it is a swede, or a turnip, or whether they are the same thing.

Well, 'argued' is perhaps too strong a term. I do hope our relationship is strong enough to cope with minor root-vegetable debates.

Honey, I had a 0930 GP appointment on Monday (it was my 25wk anti-natal appointment). Surgery, I believe, starts at 0900, and I got in to see the doctor at 1020!

Thanks goodness for those apps that let you top up your parking meter remotely.
