Start using Mumsnet PremiumWe're multitasking by crocheting and blood testing our way through pregnancy. We are waiting for our clutch of Christmas babies to hatch while our newbies are gearing up for scans, it's JS Grads 42!
(1000 Posts)Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 41st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!
For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!
The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.
The 41sr grads thread is HERE
The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 55th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!
There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!
There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!
HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. (Except it's not because I don't know how to link to the stats sheet!)
Can someone who is more cleverer than me do a link to the stats sheet please? Ta muchly.

DC: A 1.5lb rutabaga (wtf?)
Here be the stats!
STATS
I'll say it again on this Fred cos although I said it on the last Fred, I bookended it with some wankbadgers good luck today at your scan lil, and remember to enjoy it!
Oh and current activity is googling how big my baby is
Yes lil! Scan day!
second think a rutabaga is some sort of turnip/swede type vegetable
lil GX for a good scan
I got the ovia app - I'm growing a butternut squash apparently
See that's what I don't get Thursday. A butternut squash is generally bigger than an aubergine. I think these different apps need to sort themselves out.
Lillian best of luck today! Can't wait to see MiniLil again!
Thanks Pud
Name: Fruit
Age: 29
Dc: cutest dog ever and a zucchini sized little fruitman.
Current activities: smuggling womble conker over international borders (again).
I just looked at the stats sheet and saw that we are scan twins Feathered.
Good luck today lil!
True Honey I think it's made by people with a very vague understanding of veg! One of the options for me today was a crepe suzette. Flat and triangular.
Ooh, new shiny Fred, thanks pud!
Name: Carrot
Age: 29 for another 8 days
DC: 2yo DS, incubating a cauliflower head weighing DC2 (or cucumber long, depending what you want to measure).
27 weeks today and insomnia is kicking my arse again
I would rather they just listed average dimensions tbh. Easier, don't have to worry about the size of the vegetables available in the UK.
Well yes, another one I saw said a scallion - which to the best if my knowledge is a spring onion.
Also a squash is really heavy!
Anyways, whatever it is it seems happy enough today.
I ran my name choices past DS antenatal group last night and they got the thumbs up.
Listening to an Xmas playlist to get me in the mood for Santa
Also a friend passed on a load of maternity clothes yesterday- there were only a few things I liked/fitted but I feel like I've got a whole new wardrobe!
Score on the mat clothes Thurs.
FYI 😍😜🤕👶🏼🐶🍒🍇🍋🍊🍏🍐🍌🍆🍍
We have emoticons!
Yay new fred cheers pud!!
So stats:
Name: Jelly
Age: 25
DC's: None, 2 cats and currently "baking" a 32+1 Napa Cabbage
Current Activity: Muching a bacon bagel in work with the fan on in December!!!
Good luck today lil, can't wait for a fred/FB update showing a wondering picture of your little bean!
Hope you all feel ok today!
👀👀👀
So we have!
How is it possible to be running 30 minutes late, when my appointment is at 8.45?! Really?! I am not happy, need to get to work!
Yes Mermaid I thought that, but that opened up a whole new can of worms, as DP and I argued whether it is a swede, or a turnip, or whether they are the same thing.
Well, 'argued' is perhaps too strong a term. I do hope our relationship is strong enough to cope with minor root-vegetable debates.
