I'm due Jan 20th newts, everything reassuringly boring for me at the moment. Think I'm starting to sense braxton hicks now. How are things with you?

Me!! I'm due the 26th! Currently experiencing insomnia and severe back pain. Midnight cereal has become a regular thing. How are you all getting on?

The insomnia is the worst - I've been awake since 2:30am Confused

Due the 21st and I'm feeling like I'm starting to waddle a bit now.

Those antenatal threads are far too fast moving for me.

I'm 24th Jan with DC2. Current status: fat, waddling, hungry, tired, ratty.

I was going to link the chat thread, but see it's already there for you.

You'll realise why pregnancy chat threads are all in their own topic if you look how busy it is. No other pregnancy threads would ever get noticed if they crept into this topic.

Pencilled in for c-section on 25th. Feel fat, tired and generally pissed off with the world! Loving the little one kicking to enthusiastically though, dd was very still in utero!

Hi all - we're going to pop this over to Antenatal Clubs.

I'm due 10th Jan. Feeling ok, other than a general squished feeling (especially around my ribs) and constant heartburn / indigestion. Finish work on 17 December which is starting to feel a bit late to be honest, but I've got too much to do before I finish to change it now!

I think the January antenatal club thread has stalled as most people moved over to a Facebook group.

I'm signed off now due to sciatica & work not being able to give me a non clinical role. Annual leave until 27th of december when mat leave commences. Starting to feel I might get bored but going to try and sleep and rest as much as possible. Have Physio and antenatal classes starting this week.
Has anyone tried hypnobirthing cd/books/courses?

Hello

Have been lurking for months and I'm finally popping my head above the parapet, was gearing up to post on the January board and it just tailed off...I think the FB group was the greater pull!

My daughter is due January 29 (first baby) and am on ML as of January 8 and counting down the days. Am actually WFH today, hard at is as you can see!

I'm really keen to try and get the January thread up and running again, I'm not a big FBer and enjoy coming on here and basically having most of my pregnancy fears allayed!

So shall we try and get ourselves mobilised and keep a January thread going for the last 2 months of our pregnancies? Grin

I'm not a huge fan of FB groups as part of the point of these boards is anonymity isn't it...? So yes, I'd rather stick here!

Congratulations everyone 😊

Yes I think we should try and keep a January thread going can't stand fb tbh lol

I'll stick around here too, like you sweets I was just feeling brave enough to dip my toe in and then it went!
Is anyone thinking of trying/has tried raspberry leaf or evening primrose oil soon? Desperate not to go overdue as this has been a very anxious pregnancy so weighing these up as options.

Report
Tootle10 · 30/11/2015 13:41

I'm having one cup of raspberry leaf tea a day and will then increase to two cups from about 38 weeks, and three cups from 40 weeks (if baby's still not arrived)! It's meant to be good for toning the womb but not sure there's any evidence that it means labour starts any earlier.
