bikingintherain Tue 13-Oct-15 19:37:21

Oooh well done Jelly, I just updated my stats. I hadn't quite realised how close yours will be together. My sister has a slightly bigger age gap with her 2 DC, she really likes having them close together.

jbiscuits Tue 13-Oct-15 19:54:34

loki it must be so hard, I know I would find it difficult but try to think positive xxx

I have a scan booked in for next Tuesday and am nervous already! !

MagicDucky Tue 13-Oct-15 20:00:31

Been lurking on the previous thread for a while as I was convinced I was pregnant but had not had a BFP. Until tonight that is!

From my calculations my EDD will be around the 19th.

This is baby no.2, DD is going to be 2 in December. We've only been trying a month! I never thought it would happen so soon! So excited!

Can't wait to hear how you're all getting on and have people to talk to who know how I'm feeling! OH is great but he really isn't getting the tiredness thing grin

BiffleRoo Tue 13-Oct-15 20:02:20

Congratulations and welcome ducky!

MagicDucky Tue 13-Oct-15 20:02:38

Also so very sorry to those who have lost thanks my thoughts are with you xx

MadMadamMim123 Tue 13-Oct-15 20:02:57

Hello again ladies, this thread moves so quick! Forgive me if I don't keep up!
Congratulations to those happy scans, and lots of love and best wishes to those who have not been so fortunate sad
I've been to see my gp and the midwife called me to make my booking in appt so that's on the 2nd.
I'm feeling mega snappy, probably not helped by having stopped my antidepressants as soon as I got my bfp! It's so hard because I lead a team at work and I can feel them all being a bit nervous around me. Then I feel guilty and have to go and have a cry in the toilets. Then I throw up. Joyous hormones!!! Finding it quite difficult not telling people but determined to wait for my 12 week scan.

MagicDucky Tue 13-Oct-15 20:03:02

Thank you Biffle!

MadMadamMim123 Tue 13-Oct-15 20:05:06

Oh and I also wanted to say I've tried the anti sickness wrist bands today and they were pretty good! Well worth a fiver!

AmIseeingRight Tue 13-Oct-15 20:12:19

So sorry for those who have had a tough few days flowers

tigress23 Tue 13-Oct-15 20:40:58

Here I am place marking. Too much to read tonight and too tired!

obsessedlex Tue 13-Oct-15 20:45:38

Well I've now had some bleeding, feeling terrified, scan booked for tomorrow at 11.30.
Just a bit of bright red blood, not sure what to do really

Torfhinn Tue 13-Oct-15 21:00:16

Thanks for the thread jelly!

I'm sorry you are frightened lex, there are so many scary things about pregnancy. The is nothing you can do but rest, I'm keeping my fx that your scan tomorrow well show you a healthy bean flowers

I might try those wrist bands mim, I've been feeling so sick these past couple of days confused

JellyBaby26 Tue 13-Oct-15 21:00:40

Lex can you call your EPU?

I struggle to keep up with this thread , let's hope we don't lose anyone else!

biking I'm not sure I know what I'm letting myself in for! I just really hope they are healthy.

Dd has a currently undiagnosed potentially genetic condition. She's currently having lots of tests and we have having full exome tests in the hope that shows something so I can have prenatal tests. If not, we know it's a huge risk but I'm desperate for a healthy baby. Being a mum is just amazing!

Rifka Tue 13-Oct-15 21:44:55

Fingers crossed for you Obsessedlex. flowers so hope all is well.

Also marking my place in the new thread! Tried to enter my info on the spreadsheet today but failed miserably, we have a new Mac and I can't figure out how to edit anything yet. For the record, I am 35, this will be baby #4, I work out the EDD as 1st June. Got my first midwife appointment tomorrow at 2pm. Team yellow, we want a surprise. OH has christened the bean 'Bunny' for now - short for 'Bun In The Oven'. grin

Also, congrats to the new ladies! X

LucilleLeSueur Tue 13-Oct-15 21:56:32

Posting to mark place!

I'll be 35, baby number 3, based in Dublin. Definitely going to find out the sex, we have two DDs already but had just given away all the baby clothes so I'll need to stock up, all going well ;)

SliceofLemon Tue 13-Oct-15 21:58:31

Marking place. Same EDD as you Ducky, so early but so exciting, trying not to get carried away!
