Just jumping on and marking my place! Smile

I've also had a litle bit of period-style cramping in the past few days. Never lasts long but I don't like it! I'm just assuming it's all part of the growing and stretching going on in there.

I just looked on the antenatal board and there's an April 2016 bus! How has time gone so quickly?!

Thanks bee!

spydie eugh, migraine Sad Hope it's easing up. I was out tonight with former work colleagues and had to leave when my headache got too intense, now heading to meet DH and other friends at another pub and eating a cheeky chicken katsu curry on the train!

All this talk of car seats is interesting and I'll definitely be bearing this in mind if I ever get round to buying one...

Hope everyone has a good weekend planned, I'm voluntarily going to Westfield Shepherd's Bush tomorrow (why?!).

Marking place - thanks for new thread.
Whoever was asking about hf&m my DD had it when I was pregnant with DS. I think complications are very rare and it's far less for adults to get it than children. I think it's contagious for about a week after the spots/blisters appear.
Glad the scan went well today crumble Smile

crumble good news on the scan! A pain that they wont change dates though. When do they book a section - is it 38/39 weeks?

juniper how annoying re all the monitoring. How long do you need to keep it all on for?

I've found out that one of my daughter's friends had parvovirus (slapped cheek) - was diagnosed a few days after I'd seen her (we are close friends and I hugged her, so def came in contact). My ob wants me to have a blood test to make sure I didn't pick it up. Fingers crossed.

Love westfield shepherd's bush (reminded me of home Blush)

Sorry for pelvic and back pain everyone suffering. It's rubbish Sad I find the easier I take it, the better off I am - the more walking and toddler carrying I do, the worse it gets. I have hip pain at night but luckily can get rid of it still if I shift around. I know that wont last!!!

Glad scan went well crumble
Hope you are ok juniper
Thank you for new thread
Infant carrier car seats are great and all rear facing
Remember baby should always be on the back seat, but if you have to put them in the front, you must be able to turn off air bag, otherwise it's very dangerous.
Have a great weekend everyone

Thanks for the new thread. Can't believe we're on another one!

Sorry to hear folks are suffering with cramps. I found a warm bath or a lower back rub from DH helps when I get them.

Off to bed with bean wiggling. Not felt it all day and now feeling more than I have before!
Happy weekend!

Morning ladies....

Barely slept last night due to pins n needles in my hip and a blocked up nose!

I've been upset lately that my tummy, although getting bigger, just looks like a spare tyre and belly not a beautiful pregnancy bump (hence why I have never posted a bump pic) The only way I can get it to look like a proper bump is to wear over the bump stuff which gives the illusion of smoothing out the 'gap' inbetween.
It's really been getting me down as it makes me feel very un-pregnant so I decided to google it.

It would appear I am destined to be a 'victim' of 'B Belly' but am also relieved to read it's incredibly normal (although still upset, I want to look pregnant not fat)

That being said, does anyone else have this as all your pics look like perfect pregnancy bumps.

Thanks for the new thread bee!

Thanks coffee, ELCS are usually scheduled for 39 weeks which according to my dates may be only 38+ weeks but as it'll be around Christmas time I might not get a lot of choice in the matter. I'm consultant led though so at least I can voice concerns. Baby will be small as it is!

Hope you get the all clear for the parvovirus. Good to get checked out.

Hope everyone has a great weekend and those pesky cramps go away. I had some lovely ovary twinges yesterday, felt like I was ovulating! Grin

Hi everyone - hope you don't mind me joining so late but I've been lurking along since the start. I'm due 15th January and have been suffering very badly from morning sickness. It only seems to be getting worse at 17 weeks and is starting to get me down. I have been given medication from the doctor but can only take it at night as has a sedative effect. Anyone else's sickness getting worse as you go on ? Anyway I've really enjoyed reading along and everyone seems so lovely and supportive. Hoping my sickness wears off soon and I can enjoy this!!
