Hi, so glad to see that there is already an October thread. I think my due date will be first of October but my cycle length is a little short so that may change.

Sorry to hear you're feeling so anxious. I think most people do. Hope it gets easier soon.

This is also my first although I'm a late starter at 39! Let's hope we're joined soon by a few people with more experience who can reassure us.

Congratulations to you guys! Grin

Oh and I'm 34 and I have a 14-month-old dd already.

Congratulations to you too!

Are either of you having any symptoms yet? I'm going to the loo all the time, especially overnight, and my breasts seem to be about 2 cup sizes larger already as even bras that are normally too big for me no longer fit comfortably.

Hello lovelies! I just got my BFP yesterday as well at 9dpo. I'm due 3rd October, same as you Angus. How lovely of you to start up a bus Boyle. :)

I'm 30 and this is our 3rd and last. We have a set of 17 month-old twin girls, so life is going to be getting pretty manic here in a bit!

I actually tested early because I was getting the same symptoms (headache, nausea, sudden dislike of my precious coffee) that I had in the tww with my girls. I'm hoping to high heaven it's not another set of twins as I don't know how I'd cope! My great grandmother had two sets. Shock We started TTC this month thinking that it would take a while to get pregnant the second time around (I got pregnant on the first cycle last time as well), I'm slightly in 'holy crap, what have we done' mode...

Still, can't complain and hooray for another cuddly baby!! DH and I can't wait for the lovely snuggles. It will be nice to get the baby phase out of the way and complete our family quicker than expected provided we can survive the chaos!

Congrats Lingua! It does sound like you're going to have your hands full!

No major symptoms yet...bit of heartburn and sore boobs. Excited for it all to start again!

Hi everyone... I feel pretty rubbish today! Really tired and drained. I tested because my hubby was eating bran flakes Monday morning and I was nearly sick on him! That was enough for me to just know I guess...

When are you guys telling close family? I really want to tell my parents and sisters but worried my mum will be too excited and tell everyone she sees.

My boobies are HUGE too ??.

Sorry my phone is rubbish at letting me type and look at your messages at same time.

I've only told my DH and the 50-odd members of the Nov 2013 antenatal group Grin

It's not too bad for us as we're living abroad temporarily so I won't see anyone in the flesh til I'm 7 weeks. Then it'll be impossible to hide as I'm a gin lover Smile

How nice that you're still in touch with your previous antenatal group all this time later, Angus. I could imagine it would be easy to lose touch when you're all busy with new babies.

Hope you'll be feeling better soon Boyle. We won't be telling people until after the scan because I was pregnant last summer and only found out at the scan that we'd lost the baby. I was so glad that we didn't have to tell many people what had happened. I was going to tell my manager at work as I'd been so forgetful and disorganised last time and she is very sympathetic and helpful but unfortunately she left last week and I don't know if I'd want to tell anyone else.

I just remembered that it's our wedding anniversary this weekend. This is the best present we could have had!

The group has been a lifeline since I found out I was pregnant and ever since. The group migrated to FB quite early on and it was a bit easier to follow the conversations!

I understand about your reservations Cine. I have been in a similar situation and it's awful.

Thank you, Angus! I think one of the nicest things about being part of a group is having an outlet to talk about things freely when nobody else is supposed to know.

Congrats Mum! It's easier said than done, but try not to worry about things you can't control. Today you are pregnant.

That's my focus anyway. I'm trying not to look too far ahead yet.

I've noticed that lots of the other antenatal groups have a Google spreadsheet for their stats. I thought I'd start one for us too so we know who is part of the group.

Just thinking about the kind of details people might want to compare, I came up with:

Name
Location
Age
Children
EDD
Hospital
Booking apt
Early Dating
20 wk
Sex
Name Ideas (M)
Name Ideas (F)
Born
Weight
Name

Of course people would only include anything they feel like sharing and can leave gaps if they don't want to include any information. Is there anything else we should have?

Good idea. I'll do this when I'm on the laptop as it's easier to copy and paste than on my phone Smile

Feeling a bit crampy today. Hoping it's just settling-in aches and pains. I'm sure it's all in my head but feel a nit queasy too.

With DD, I couldn't tolerate milk/cream so 6 months without cereal, icecream, yoghurt! I really hope this pregnancy is different!

Sorry to hear you're feeling rough Angus. Hope it eases off soon and you don't get the problem with dairy this time. That's the last thing you want when you need plenty of calcium.

I made a start on the stats sheet and added the info that everyone had shared so far. It is open for anyone using the link to edit their details, so we can all add our own updates. Here it is:

Oct 2015 Stats sheet

I can still add more columns to it if anyone has any ideas.

Hi ladies. Can I join please. I recognise a few of u from the jan bus over at ttc. Congratulations to all your bfps. Ling I am very excited to know if it's another set of twins. Will u have an early scan because of your previous twins.

I got my bfp this morning at exactly 4 weeks. No question as it was a digital 1-2 weeks. Still in shock because really didn't expect it as quick

It's been very emotional however because I am so so close to my sister but we don't live near each other anymore so there was no doubt that we would tell her as soon as we found out. However this morning I sent the message to the wrong what's app group and have ended up telling all 15 of my friends. I was so so upset couldn't stop crying. So much can go wrong at this early stage and we were planning on keeping it quiet until all the test results had came back after the 12 week scan. Anyway I can't do anything about it now. Trying to laugh about it a bit.

Looking forward to sharing this journey with u all xx

Congratulations to you too, Lucky! How nice to see 1-2 weeks on the digital! I just used cheapie test strips when I tested on Wed & Thu but am planning to buy a pair of digitals tonight and use one tomorrow and one next Saturday, just to see the dates increase.

Sorry to hear what happened when you tried to contact your sister. It's good that you can try to laugh at your mistake. Don't let anything spoil your enjoyment of such a happy time. At least you won't be needing to think up excuses for not eating and drinking certain things when you're with them.

Good luck!

Congrats Lucky!

You'll just have to put your Whatsapp accident down to your first bit of baby brain Grin !

The digital tests are so exciting. I've done one and am saving the other to hopefully see a progression. My cheapie tests are still showing as really faint. I guess I'm only 3+6 so that's to be expected!

I've booked in with my OB for a week on Monday and I can't remember what happened last time. I'm sure they took bloods to check the hcg levels. What fun!

Thank u for the lovely welcomes. I'm gonna stop worrying about my what's app mishap and try to enjoy. They r my best friends so have nothing to panic about I suppose.

Yeah I'm thinking I may get another digital and do it end of next week. It's just peace of mind isn't it.

Very exciting x

Congrats Lucky and Mum! How very exciting that we are all due so close together--will make for an interesting week or two 9 months down the road!

Sorry about the what's app issue, Lucky. :( Hopefully in a few months it will all seem a distant memory!

I called my GP on Wednesday to let them know I was pregnant and they got me in today. The doctor sent over a referral for me to have an early scan and check for multiples, so hopefully will know sooner than 12 weeks.

Feeling exhausted and a bit ill. Reeeeeeally hoping it doesn't turn into the 22 week puke-a-thon I had last time. :(

Sorry you're feeling rough.

Good that you'll get an early scan to put your mind at rest/prepare yourself!

I can't believe no-one told me ms could go on past 12w. I wasn't as bad as you, but was still being sick at 18 weeks. Confused
