The JS Grads turn 18! We are young, we are free, keep our foofs all tidy! No cigs, alcohol and a lack of JSing... but Nik Naks, Monster Munch and chip butties for all!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 18th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 35th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

sorry, wanted to beat la!! Grin

can't believe you lot have beat the jsers to finishing a fred!

min my dn came "on time" by scan dates but 2wks late by sils dates and he had all the signs of being am overdue baby so if your sure on ur dates maybe holding off induction is an option. fx she comes before induction date though.

wil hope tests come back OK and you don't end up in hospital! Thanks

la this is why I don't have cats, much as I love them! hope poor thing is OK.

lauren I've been signed off by docs for weeks and weeks so it's not a huge issue. I'm taking 2015's annual leave in jan, and starting maternity leave at start of February, EDD 6th March (but we know it'll be before!)

Pisghetti · 18/12/2014 13:56

As if we'd ever get rid of our tea monkey! Wink

Min DS was overdue by two weeks by scan dates and I was completely unready for labour on my first examination. He didn't look like an overdue baby at all though. Having said that his birth was pretty straightforward following the induction so see how you feel about things as your induction date rolls around (fx you go before then anyway!)

Hope all is ok Wil

I've just looked up about lazy daisy, there's a class starting in jan I could go to, lasts 6 weeks I think. What do we all think about them? Really worth it, or not? I'll be pretty big by then and even more so by the end of it, will that cause issues?

RPopz · 18/12/2014 14:06

Not at all Zyla it's very relaxing. Just breathing and relaxation exercises and some stretching movements. Yoga inspired but not as intense. There's an educational component each week as well... I can't say I learned anything profound that I didn't already know but I am a bit of an infowhore so had done a lot of reading already! It's very much geared up towards natural active birth though... can't remember if you're having a elcs or if you'll have to have an induction and cfm... the techniques will still be useful to you but I'd mention it when you start so they can help you apply these things to your situation.

Continuous foetal monitoring. They usually say you have to stay on the bed if you have it so not necessarily conducive to an active birth. I don't think it has to be that way though.

Report
ZylaB · 18/12/2014 14:39

Ahh thanks popz

I have already been reassured that if I go for induction instead of CS they try their best to let you move around etc. I'm thinking I might go for it, even if I end up with a CS it'll be time before the birth for destressing etc maybe?

Eldest sent home again, suspected scarlett fever this time, no dr until tomorow morning here, but did have a rash when i piked up from school. The joys! At least this isnt dangerous for baby.

I thought that with the 4th that it would be showing by now, but people think i've lost weight and then are in shock when i tell them, have got a bit of a podgy belly but that's it.

Minion good luck for the next few days, she will come in her own sweet time!

Induction isnt that bad, 2nd was induced, pain did come fast but the diamorph took care of that, even though i could feel it i didnt care!
