(1 Post)I had my first trimester screening done and my results came back high risk for my baby having down syndrome. I am 13 weeks and was able to get in the day after I got the first results to do a more accurate test called the MatrniT21. Based on my first trimester results the nurse said I was still below a 1% chance, around 0.8% chance of having a baby with DS. One of my numbers was higher than the average but she still said it wasn't elevated high enough for her to believe that something is going on with my baby. I still had the other blood work done since it's none invasive and 99% accurate. I have to wait for 2 weeks to get the results back and I am so stressed and upset I don't know what to do. Have any other moms had something similar happen?
