Bump I am also totally over cooking real food. I think it's a combination of heat and third trimester pregnancy. Lying here thinking about what we could possibly eat tonight right now... such a hassle sometimes!
I'm seeing the midwife tomorrow and need to remember to ask about the whooping cough vaccine. I plan on making an appointment with my GP afterwards to get it done, is that right? Do I need to say when I book it what it's for?
Last night I had terrible leg cramps that woke up me and were so painful. I might be leaving the 'enjoying it' stage of pregnancy, I have to say. On the other hand, I do love how active the baby is now...he is almost constantly moving around and kicking and shoving my stomach into odd shapes. I've heard it can get a bit painful and I'm dreading that. The other major reason I'm starting to look forward to the end is that I have high blood pressure all of a sudden. It started about a week ago at a routine midwife appointment, ended up with me in hospital for a little over 2 days being monitored and put on medication. It's really frustrating to suddenly be high-risk! I don't have pre-eclampsia (though still could develop it obviously) but have been told I might have to give birth early. Hopefully it won't come to that, or won't be too early, but keep reminding myself that my husband was born at 35 weeks without any difficulties, and my MIL was born at 28 weeks (55 years ago!) and was also absolutely fine in the end. But hopefully it won't come to that for me- I had a growth scan and the baby is the perfect size and I'm going to keep getting my BP monitored to make sure the medication keeps it in check. (I do really hate being on medication, though.)
