Hi,

I've finally got my BFP and want to find others who want to chat and eat cake whilst being excited about cooking our little dragons.

I am 31yrs old, just got my BFP for #2.

Come in and sit down for the next nerve racking 9 months :)

I'm in 2-3 weeks according to clear blue number three on its way at 34, just as I'd given up and got a puppy!

Hi can I join too? My edd is 29 March but my ds was a week late so I reckons this one will actually turn out to be an April baby. This is #2 for me. So far minimal symptoms so feeling very lucky (although plenty of time for that to change). Cannot wait to start showing so I actually feel preggo!!

Congratulations, not looking forward to the midwives and their tape measures here! I always measure small and end up with hospital lead care, anyone else enjoying the I know something you don't know feeling? X

Hi wheredidipark. What number baby is this for you? I hate keeping secrets!!! Have told 1 friend so far and finding it hard not to drop it into conversation with everyone!! Have known for 1 week and 1 day and it has dragged so badly. Am trying to keep numbers to a minimum until I hopefully see a happy baby at 12 weeks though.

Hi misty. Yeh it is totally normal. I felt like that first time and now feel like it again. I just try to remind myself that if something is going to go wrong there is nothing I can do to stop it so no point in thinking about it. Plus although things can go wrong there is more chance that they won't x

This is no 3 lady, I told my mum as well! Had to tell someone, hence being on this board!

If something goes wrong at this stage misty it is for a reason, but it will probably be fine, the first few weeks and the last three are always the worst for me.

Can I join please ladies? Got my bfp yesterday. Been so busy with the children that I'm still trying to work dates out but I'm thinking it'll be the first week in April.

This is dc5 for us and I have already started to feel the morning sickness creep in. I've told only dh and Dsis (who is in another country and can't blab).

I'm so excited.

Hi dances. Wow that's a lot of bambinos! You must be one busy lady! I've only had mild nausea so far so counting myself lucky. Having to get up twice a night to wee is annoying though...
Misty maybe the ics have just got as dark as they can get? Also the hcg levels do fluctuate as they rise so the line darkness will differ day to day. I know it's really hard to resist (I've done 3 tests so far) but if you can stop testing it will prob be less stressful for you x

Yes, I think I may get more than a few raised eyebrows when we do tell people! When we had dc3 people asked if the telly was broken! This is definitely the last if it all goes to plan.

No 5, you are one brave lady, dances! This is definitely my last no 2 is only 14 months. Misty I'm sure the internet cheapie is right.. When are you are planning on the midwife referral?

Hi all- sorry for confusion ( didn't realise this thread actually posted- stupid phone!)

How are we all feeling?

I forgot how much I hate the first 12 weeks - like you lady flower and misty I feel really on edge and worried. But that is a good way to look at it- more chance of no issues so let's hope we will all be ok. Thanks for the positive outlook!

I'm also finding it hard to keep quiet. I've had to tell a friend tonight due to a planned night of drinking so I had no way round it. ( having a stomach upset was a little lame!)

I'm also back to work on Tuesday as my maternity leave for my DD ends so not sure what my boss will make of it ( I have to tell them ASAP due to the nature of my job) so that conversation is making me more anxious about my return. Sure it will all be fine and after 5 minutes it'll be Ikke I was never away!

Congrats to everyone by the way :)

Pretty. Important then! still you will be back fora while. I've woken up all excited again tho I must admit I would love a little girl, I'm in a house full of men and boys and would love a girl baby! Selfish or what?

Report
Cisforcat · 26/07/2014 08:50

No that's not selfish atall! I was desperate for a DD with my first. Especially as I was brought up by my dad and brother and my DH has a DS ( my step DS obviously) and I wanted what he didn't already have. So no not selfish!

I must admit I have no preference this time. Just v v happy! ( and nervous and excited!)

Has anyone gone to the GP at all? With my DD they did nothing so this time I've just made my booking app with midwife. Is that right? ( seems ages away on 27 aug but that was only all they could get me so just as well I booked it so early on!)

Morning,

Yes I've spoken to a Dr (couldn't book a midwifes appointment without a Drs referral apparently?) got a bounty pack and what looks like my antinatal notes. Wasn't expecting that to be honest last time I went to the Dr all excited it was a massive anti climax and had to wait for a letter for my booking app& scan at 13weeks

Report
Cisforcat · 26/07/2014 09:10

Oh wow fingers. Bet that was a bit overwhelming!

Well I've booked the booking app which they let me do so ill just go with that. With DD that's when they have me all the paperwork stuff. Just seems so long away when your feeling so anxious all day everyday.........
