Morning everybody - new thread already!!

I felt my uterus for the first time this morning. Still not showing, but there's definitely something hard and round in there very low down.

Can anyone else feel theirs?

Morning. Just marking my place in new thread. Taking DS swimming this morning. Getting in a swimsuit at the moment is not fun!

Thanks for new thread sunshine
I think I have too much podge to feel anything.
I just tried on my swimsuit as going on holiday in a few weeks. I've decided it'll do rather than buy a new one.
Going to brave having a drink now - plain water - and hope I will not need to run to bathroom.

How do I add myself to the stats? Can't figure out from my phone!

Loving all your name ideas, I love 'granny' names as well. Mighty, great taste in girls names! Wink. Love Otto too. Thanks Lulu, it was the name of my great grandad and his dad. I just hope the baby looks like the names we've picked as we can't really think of anything else (we used my favourite boys names on our cats!).

KeepOn, you have such a great attitude. I hope your friends have some luck too.

13 weeks today!

Hello everyone!

sunshine I can def feel mine, very hard and round, very weird.

This morning I was reading this thread and I started maniacally laughing at the exorcist story, only to bust in tears seconds later because... Well because DH was laughing at me laughing and it wasn't funny. 2 days ago, I cried because he cut my sandwich in half and I wanted it whole. The day before I cried because it started raining and I wanted to go out and it was not very nice for it to rain when I was dressed and ready to go.
I'm turning into a 2yo, it's worrying...

11+2 and trying to decide whether to watch the Tour de France today. It'll involve a mile walk each way & lots of waiting - but it'll never happen again!

Feeling sick so hopefully that'll pass.

Morning ladies. I love all the name suggestions.

Henrietta, I went yesterday as it was once in a lifetime as you say. However, I was able to drive to very close. DP is off somewhere soon to go and stand on a hill or something but I'm going to give that a pass.
Blizy..I've never suffered from constipation fortunately but think I've heard someone talking about prunes. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

It's so strange looking for our thread and seeing a march 2015 feels like 2 min ago that ours was the earliest ones

Thanks for the new thread! sunshine I could feel mine about 8 weeks which made me worry about twins! It's now much higher and hard and round. It's very odd :s

Seeing a march thread is so crazy! Makes me feel more pregnant :)

Blizy have you tried fybogel? A sachet of that every morning and evening helped me, nothing else did, I made sure I ate a few prunes a day and drunk lots of water too.

Love the new thread Smile it will be 20 week scans soon!

Whoops!

... Iron tablets. Now I just make sure I eat plenty of fruit evey day and not too much bread. Seems to be working ok but still traumatised by the black poo (sorry if anyone is eating!)

Blizy- the odds of that happening as so minuscule. Try not to worry (I know it's hard) x

Sorry for being so down, I don't want to make anyone nervous about stillbirth. Sorry.

Blizy don't worry. People will worry about all sorts of things. It's totally understandable to feel as you do.

Popping in again after a little break - have suddenly found myself really busy and haven't had chance to post. Have skim-read the other thread but couldn't really keep up so I'm sorry for having missed anything important.

I hope it's ok but I've added a column in the stats for the 20-week scans. Got my date through a couple of weeks ago. I've not filled it in on the stats yet though.

I think I've done something dodgy to my back :( it's really painful and my movement is restricted because of this. Might have been less than a good idea to do Race for Life this morning! We only walked round though so the gentle movement was probably good for it. I hope. It's been painful since Thursday so if it's no better by Tuesday I'm going to go to the GP and weep.

In other news, today I have purchased a Quinny Zapp Xtra 2 and a Maxi-cosi Cabriofix. Available as a travel system from Kiddicare and Mamas & Papas for £350, but I bought them separately on Amazon for £298 including postage :D Feeling a bit nervous because this is THE big purchase for this baby (have got everything else still left from DC1) and so I hope we are not tempting fate.

Anyway - enough about me, me, me...hope everyone is having a lovely sunny weekend. I'll try and keep up with this thread!

15+2

Hi everyone. Just marking my place.

I have started to feel very uncomfortable. Big meals do not sit well at all (I know I should eat small ones but I'm really hungry all the time still!) and it feels like my uterus and digestive system are having a massive battle for space. It also means I have 2 bumps - a baby one and then a real stomach and guts one further up! Anyone else on this?

Blizy, it is totally understandable. I can't imagine how hard it is to have been what you went through. I really hope this pregnancy is really easy and lovely for you. You deserve it. X
