Hi,

Tentative post here - got 2 faint BFPs on Sun/Mon (period only due yesterday.
EDD seems to be between Feb 28 - March 1st depending on whether I use standard 28 day cycle or adjust to my 30 day one.
DC2 for me - DS was 8 days late so think I'm more likely to belong in the March club than Feb.

Will do another test in a couple of days to get the elusive dark line so I don't think I'm making it up

Hope someone else joins me soon.

Congratulations NotAQueef Grin Great news and thanks for starting the thread.

I've had 2 faint but definite BFPs with in the last 2 days, I have a few symptoms as well so am hopping on board and taking a seat ready to cheer on a few more companions when they arrive.

This is #2 for us as well, DS has just turned 2. My EDD is 8 March, fingers crossed for safe and healthy pregnancies to everyone who joins!

Hi woodland & sunshine! congratulations to you both. So glad to have some people to share this with.

Took another (poundland cheapie) last night and was darker (but still lighter than the control)

Starting to get symptoms too ... serious amounts of saliva/lots of air in my stomach and my sense of smell is going insane ... not good in an office full of sweaty men!

Looking forward to lots of oversharing and chat in the coming months all being well Grin

Congratulations and welcome sunshine and choccy! How exciting, fantastic news for you both Grin

Queef my sympathies on office full of sweaty men, urgh!! I'm not sure if smell is heightened yet but boobs are insane and also have bloating by the end of the day too. I am willing on a few more symptoms so I "feel" more pregnant but I know I am going to regret that once morning sickness and fatigue rear their ugly heads. I hardly had any last time, hoping for similar this time but am happy with the cards I get dealt just to have had a BFP.

How long have you all been trying?

Hi

Can I join got my BFP on Saturday. Which puts my edd at 27th feb but I think I will more probably be in march for dating scan as I dated 4 days later with my 1st ds. GrinGrin

We haven't been trying very long only really properly for a month so it's a bit if a shock as ds1 took a year.

Ds1 was 2 in feb so if this bean sticks there will be a 3 year gap between
Them.

I am with everyone on the sense if smell heightening and no energy levels. No ms yet thankfully.

Looking forward to the ride with everyone. GrinGrinGrin

Hi purpletoes, and congratulations!

We've been trying for about 6mths, so very happy to finally get bfp. With ds1 it was very quick, so I wasn't prepared to have to be patient!

Currently not feeling many symptoms, was similar last time, but then ms suckerpunched me, so I paid my dues!!

Hi,

I'd like to join please.

Got my BFP at 9dpo with a clear blue digi (dating 1-2 weeks from conception).

4-11 dpo I had mild cramping which I never get, that's what made me test at 9dpo. I feel so tired at the moment with very minor bouts of nausea. Boobs were a little sore and tender, although two days ago they seemed to increase in size, however they feel "normal" from a size point of view again; not reading too much into to this though.

History of ectopic and miscarriage with one very successful pregnancy.

How is everyone feeling?

That's me!

Unfortunately I'm out. Early miscarriage diagnosed last night.

Feeling pretty awful at the moment, it took two rounds of IVF to create our wonderful son, another two for the ectopic and one for the miscarriage. Four years of trying for this pregnancy as we had no more money to pay for IVF. Life seems cruel at times but I'm always thankful for my little miracle we have here with us.

Good luck to everyone.

Oh hello!

I got my BFP off a poundland cheapie 2 days before due date, faint line (a lines a line!) and yesterday (day after period was due) did a clear blue and got 2-3 weeks so reassured HCG levels must be going up.

Crossing fingers and touching wooden objects; no history of miscarriage but feel nervous getting excited. Very much 'feel pregnant' and this will be DC2 and had horrid sickness with dd so everything (fortunately?? Unfortunately??) matching so far.

When are you waiting to contact GPs/hospitals for scans? We contact the hospital directly, so I was thinking call at 8 weeks?

Littleturkish · 26/06/2014 06:21

Oh happy, I'm so sorry to hear that.

I hope you're being looked after, life can be very cruel and unfair.

Is anyone else very crampy? Not painful but like a churning sensation? Getting worried....Confused

Report
NotAQueef · 26/06/2014 09:39

Yes! gingerbread so crampy – low down like period cramps, but then also higher up I have an uncomfortable feeling which is a bit like hunger (keeps me awake) but can’t be as I still get it even when I’m full!

Try not to worry. I had lots of cramps last time and afaik (at least in my experience and that of my friends) it’s pretty normal. Obviously if the pain gets bad and or is accompanied by bleeding might be worth getting it checked out.

I am starting to remember how last time it was around 8 weeks of frantic knicker checking after the BFP – relaxed a little after the scan (then moved on to other worry inducing niggles) Grin

nota great thanks, I'm still on constant knicker watch. It's not painful most of the time (was bad this morning, was sure there would be blood but thankfully not). Totally the same with the hunger thing.

We're edd buddies! I get 28-1st depending on site Smile

Hi! I'm new here and would love to join! Smile

Had my first BFP yesterday morning. I'd tried a test the day before and the line was really faint - you could hardly see it - but there was definitely a line there yesterday. Still, to be sure got another test and will try again tomorrow and hope it'll be a strong dark line by then.

This'll be our first so am really excited, nervous, unsure, ecstatic, etc. all at the same time! Due date calculated at 2-3 March.

happy I'm so sorry to hear x

I have the exhaustion and the odd wave of nausea. I also have been poas to see of it gets darker. Even my internet cheapies are producing a line immediately so that's a good sign I hope. GrinGrin

I forgot how bloated you get I the evenings. Tonight I look about 4 months not 5 weeksBlushBlush

I think my body is in oh I remember this we do this! Blush

Need to try and keep it quiet in work for another 7 weeks!

Have my Gp appointment tomorrow morning to get the midwife ball rolling.

Hope everyone else is good. And congrats to newbies. Sorry on phone can't scroll back.

Congrats Trondheim

I had my GP appointment today all went fine. My ds was happy as they have a big brio track in the waiting area to which he brought his own trains.

So I have my pregnancy pack and they have referred me to the midwives so fingers crossed all goes ok.

Today has not been too bad. Breasts still tender but not as tired but that may jut be because I haven't been to work today.
Grin

How is everyone else ? It's such early days isn't it.
