Thank you for new thread. Not so nauseous today but utterly exhausted. Maybe the hot weather?

Thanks for new thread. Been a while since I checked in but have been reading. It's exciting that all the scans are coming up thick and fast! I can't wait for mine, 12 days to go! Although have already told a significant amount of people, parents, grandparents, siblings and their partners, iv told SLT at work and I told my best friend the other day! No one else until the scan though.

Symptom wise iv been eating loads (in a bid to keep sickness away!) and I'm absolutely exhausted by the end of each day. Clothes are starting to become tight now but trying to hold off on buying things until after the scan. Does anyone know what happens with blood test results from booking in appointment, I can't remember if midwife said shed call, or we can her or if she'll only call if there's something the matter?

Hi all, new thread already, I think we like to talkGrin. Not much to report her symptoms come and go. Still got 4 weeks to wait for scan!

Tilly I think they call you if there's a problem. I wasn't told to call them.
My scan not until 3rd July. Feels like ages

Thread 4! Marking my place. Thanks Dec

9 days to my scan, though it's at 11 weeks so I feel I'm cheating a little.

Mine's at 11+3 Mslad - it was supposed to be dead on 12 but I pretended I couldn't make that one. In truth there's a big party a couple of days after my new one and I wanted to be able to tell all my friends instead of hiding it! I am an abuser of the NHS

Hi everyone. Sorry for the TMI but I've had a little bleeding today. No cramps and trying not to panic but I'm a bit scared. I'm 8 + 5 today. Reassurance please!!

Hi Ladies,

I know I haven't been in touch for a while, basically i have been so worried since my food poisoning and have had to work my arse off at work to catch up then crashing out at 8pm

So excited for all your progress, I have had a private scan today to try and calm my nerves but was dated 9+1 and I thought I was 9+5- has anyone else had this? Now panicking something is wrong as I conceived on fertility treatment so should have the right ovulation date. Saw a strong heartbeat at 170 and a little wave and kick which was lovely still doesn't stop me worrying

Feeling good today, far less tired and nauseous starts to panic again think sleep and rest is the way forward!

Take care all x

Thanks for the new thread.

camsie I'd call the EPU, get in for a scan. I hope you are ok?

I feel way behind everyone too, I'm just 7 week today (ms gad kicked in big time). Does anyone also suffer from ibs? I have been in agony over the past few days it, even my safe foods are making me hurt now.
I have a scan on wed, so nervous...

Blizy I suffer from IBS and pregnancy has not been kind so far... Horrific constipation and bloating week 6-7, food poisoning week 7-8 so the opposite and now back to bloating cramps and blocked up, look about 20 weeks already!

Trying to stay connected! Thanks for new Fred. I'm 7+1 today. I only seem to have pretty mild nausea & sore boobs and I'm very tired. Always worrying though...

I'm beginning to wonder if I even want to have the tests for chromosomal abnormalities now as I honestly don't know what I would do with that info. I don't know if I could go through with a termination. I'm interested in other peoples thoughts with all of this?

Thanks for the new thread Smile

Quin we are having all the scans and tests. While I don't know how I would feel about tfmr I would like to know to give me a chance to get my head around it and research things like support groups. Does that make sense?

Hi Chinese that makes perfect sense, I guess my thoughts then go to would I rather wait for that info when baby's born and deal with it then when it is an actual person that I'm dealing with, but of course forewarned and fore-armed etc could also be a better way. The whole thing is so utterly terrifying. DH & I are thinking of booking in for the harmony pkg at FMC and I guess we need to make up our minds just what we want to do.

Camsie- sure its nothing, a scan could help put your mind to ease?

J200- thats lovely you had a scan :) maybe ther dates are out, not yours? Its literally a matter of a few days too , I wouldn't worry. Did you ask them what they thought?
Its hard not to worry but sure all is fine ladies :)

My ante-natal gym instructor said she's noticed my posture change quite significantly over the past couple of weeks and she predicts that I will be an EARLY WADDLER. Joyous.

Same here, really, Chinese. For me it's not as cut and dried as I definitely would or wouldn't TFMR, as there are so many shades of grey with abnormalities ranging right up to profound incompatibility with life, which I would want to know about in advance. I'm a pragmatist and have inherent infolust, I just need to know everything, then research and research and discuss and discuss and draw measured, informed conclusions. I'm a natural optimist, but romantic idealist I am not (although I wish I was sometimes!)
