So those of you doing the harmony test are doing it on top of the nuchal test? I think I understand now...

Thanks for the new thread MrsB :)

Hello!

ellimam just copy and paste the list and add yourself in (shirty can't do it from my phone).

Either I can't count (which is a possibility) or there are now more than 90 July babies! (And that doesn't include all the twins! Grin)

Sooooooo tired this morning. Roll on bedtime! rock n roll

Such a bad night-v restless all night feels as though I haven't slept at all. DH on war path this morning moaning about everything then stomping out the door which has really stressed me out. And overtired + stress = head over toilet retching and nearly wetting myself whilst also trying to sort out DS breakfast :( not a fun morning so far! Thankfully DS with childminder today but I have SO much I need to get done and just want to crawl back into bed! Currently sat on bathroom floor next to toilet - how glamorous!

Hope all those with scans are doing ok. We're not doing harmony or nuchal tests.

Hi everyone - gosh, I can't keep up with this thread, it moves so fast!

I'm 11+2 and got my scan on the 27th. Would have been nice to have it pre Xmas so we can be reassured everything is ok and tell everyone, but hey ho!

My thing this week is needing to pee all the time! Even if I've just been it feels like a big ball in my abdomen squashing my bladder, making it like a constant feeling of needing. Anyone else??

Other than that, feeling loads better and nausea is def subsiding. I even fancied a wee taste if hubby's wine last night! I couldn't have stomached the thought a few weeks ago, bleugh.

up since 5am?

I think I finally managed to fell asleep at about that time - so you and I combined had a brilliant night's sleep! Grin

Report
Jeezaloo · 17/12/2013 09:22

borrower same here. I was up at 5am needing to pee this morning, and then couldn't get back to sleep. I think as things get bigger it moves further up, and allows a bit more space for the bladder again (wishful thinking?!)

I'm going AWOL for a while - I'm off on holiday tomorrow for 3 1/2 glorious weeks, then back on 10th and scan on 11th - yay!

Good luck to all of those having scans, and Merry Christmas to all! Xmas Smile

Zing I'd take waking up at 5 over falling asleep at 5 any day of week! Poor you!

Feeling the most rubbish have felt so far today - and have non-stop meetings all day (starting in 5 mins...) then our work Christmas meal. Oh joy.

Hi everyone! I've been awol for a long time - really struggling with sickness and exhaustion still. Up until today have been managing work (well throwing up at intervals in the toilets and the whole way home then sleeping all evening) but I've reached the point that I just can't keep going. I have a really long commute and have been working at home some days to make it better but have spent the last 3 days in tears. I feel like the most rubbish pregnant woman ever Sad

I have had a problem with anxiety/panic attacks/mild agoraphobia in the past which I worked through and got better from but it feels like it has come back with all of the pregnancy hormones and I am struggling at times to be out in public/in work/talk to people. I know it is probably a temporary effect and I know from past experience that the people around me are unable to tell how bad I feel because I put on a good front - especially in work - but I feel exhausted from having to push myself to do these things at the moment - despite knowing that it is the only thing that will help in the long run.

It doesn't help that I feel like a mess - my hair needs cut/coloured, I feel bloated and hardly any of my clothes fit - despite actually losing weight from vomiting - and my skin is awful and I have huge bags under my eyes. Sorry for the rant ladies - I've been lurking so I know many of you are having a bad time with sickness etc too. I just wanted to make it until the xmas holidays but I had to ring in sick this morning so I'm annoyed at myself but I just couldn't do it anymore Sad

Have my scan this week so at least I have something to look forward to Smile My dh tries to help me - he knows how bad I feel and has been doing most of the housework/errands etc and I feel bad because all I do is cry and take it out on him - poor guy!

I thought I had got passed the insomia as I had narcolepsy instead! Now I am getting a double whammy ... Insomnia at night and narcolepsy at my desk!!! Throw in a bit of middle of the night nausea and I am one happy pregnant lady. At least I have my scan to look forward to tomorrow.

Ipsum You sound like you're being very hard on yourself on top of having a hard time. Please don't be cross with yourself for needing a day off work. Instead, try and make the most of it and work to pep yourself up and regain your balance a bit. You can't do anything about nausea and commute etc, but you can be kinder to yourself. Don't feel guilty about your hormones, just thank your DH for his help and understanding. He's in this too and probably hates seeing you struggle. Mine has perfected this really sad yet sympathetic face whenever I complain about my mild nausea. It's so OTT I get quite cross as I feel like a lazy fraud and his sympathy is not helping.

Nice bath. Bit of pampering. Phone re hair if it will make you feel better to have it planned. Do 1 chore. Watch sappy holiday film. Eat something nice. And tomorrow is another day. Brew
