SC @ 38 weeks.

Baby and I have had words, and I'm expecting things to start in the middle of next week. Contractions started with DS1 at 38+5, so I've ordered the seam again please.

Hello!
Well monitoring was fine and they are keeping me on the extra drug (Nifidepine) until Monday. Back for monitoring on Friday.
I was there for three hours so then my parents took me to Carluccios for lunch (list of what I ate on old thread...!)

Now I feel shite which I think is me getting used to the new drug. I want this to be over!!

Thinking of you MoN, I hope you enjoy your evening (take away!) and can rest xx

Why thank you Clapham Grin It's not like I've got much else to do Hmm

My poor friend has MS so it's not at all unreasonable and I feel terrible now. But I wanted to go for a drink Sad. At least I don't have to change out of my slouchy trousers.

I'm here twiddling my thumbs trying not to be too impatient at 36 + 5. May have a long wait yet. waiting to leach off of someone else's baby news and enjoyment.

Wow how sad is that confession?

I am not a drinker ( only have a glass Xmas day) but I really fancy a pint of shandy. Even though I have been sick twice today.

Best of luck tommorow MoN will be thinking of you, dp and little Eliana xx

Thinking of you too doobeedee I wonder who will be the first birth announcement on this thread? Hopefully we should have a few by the time this one ends as we will be 1/4 of the way into October

I've been keeping up with reading the thread but just don't seem to be able to post properly with name checks the last few days

Flowers to all those over due, feeling crap, and everyone just generally needing flowers xx

Checking in at 38+2. Anything I'm also hoping for mid week next week or now. Every time I get BH I hope it's going to turn into a crippling contraction so we can get the show underway! I should calm down, plenty of you are ahead of me not that I care about pushing in ATM.

Baby's blanket is nearly finished, just the borders left to do. Done more knitting in the last 2 days than I ever have- maybe a nesting/baby round the corner sign?

Maybe a TMI q but someone might know- where has my cervix gone?! I tried to find it (used to have a coil and check for strings so I know where it used to be!) but it's gone! I have long fingers, how far up can it be? And is it good or bad in terms of labour starting soon if it's that high? Hmm

Thinking of you and Eliana MoN

Been waiting on the phone to gp for 25 minutes trying to book my 38 week appointment. I think they are closed now despite the "we know you are waiting" message every few seconds. Not sure how long I should wait. They only let you book appointments the week before, there are a very limited number available as pre bookable, you can't call before 11 and they close at lunch. Such a pain trying to arrange it but I don't want to miss out on an appointment that might be my last one (wishful thinking!). Grr. Sorry moan moan moan.

Two people said they were sure I would have the baby before the weekend at work today and one laughed and said you look so tired. Charming. I thought I was doing quite well today! Waddling a lot and walking slowly because one hip is much more sore than the other but I think I have a long time to go yet.

Good luck. Rachel and doobeedoo.

Last NCT class tonight, baby can come then once we have got our money's worth!

orange - I HATE it when people tell me I look tired. Don't they realise it is code for saying I look awful! MIL is the worst offender.

Glad Isaac is home mon.

Can't believe some of you are making it to town. I can't deal with public transport anymore, and am fully embracing semi-hermitage (and John Lewis online...).

Checking in at 38+1.

This weekend I've got a spa weekend booked with a pregnancy massage and pedicure booked. I'm dreading having to shave my legs!! The massage says it will focus on my tummy but I hope that's not right I want my back and shoulders and feet not tummy!! But what I'm looking forward to most is floating in the pool and feeling weightless. As long as the baby stays where it is!!
