Start using Mumsnet PremiumUnilateral Notch at Right artery during Doppler Scan
(3 Posts)Hi,
I had my scan at 21 weeks(Anomaly scan) . The Doppler scan report says, the mean PI increased by 1.6 and unilateral notch at right artery(screen positive). I am little worried. Has anyone else faced the same? If yes, please share your reviews and help me get positive !
Hi
Did they say anything to you? Or make an appt for another scan? I have no idea what those words mean but if there was a problem the sonographer would have deffinatley said something to you...try & relax :-)
Speak to your midwife. You may need to speak to a doctor for a full explanation. I have had notching ( don't really know what kind or what it means), and have ended up with 2 early deliveries with babies that were not doing well (one was 100% when born though a bit small, the other was 100% after a few days).
