Hi everyone... Lovely new thread!!

Really sorry about your sister bubble I envisage a similar thing happening with my sister when we tell our news-she's been funny with me for the past year or so-and I can't pinpoint an issue that have caused her to distance herself from us or anything. It's like she doesn't want anything to do with my family anymore. I'm kind of dreading telling her. Her dh and my DP are brothers so it's kind of close to home I suppose. One of the first things she said to me when DP and I got together was -you won't be able to have babies with him because they will loom the same as my children.... She has a ds and a dd and we are godparents to her ds. We have all been really close til she started distancing herself this past year... Oh well, what will be will be I suppose... Confused

I really want to start buying things too, cant remember who said but I really have the urge and really want to start getting organised etc. I might have to write some lists to put me off actually buying thongs just yet GrinGrinGrin

Evening all. Hope every one is feeling ok. I can't post much at the moment - really busy back at work now and DD is in a dance show for the next few days. Just marking my place on the lovely new thread really.

Bubblebell1 · 14/03/2012 19:47

Oh babybrain I really hope that your sister is more understanding than mine.
Families eh!

I want to buy things too. To hold off perhaps get some catalogues and Mark what you like? I've been looking at prams (sorry to say my sisters nasty childish behaviour has involved prams. She said I'm out of order for wanting the same pram as my other sisterBlush) it's my favourite pass time ATM. Oh that and gender prediction tests Blush I'm officially obsessed!

Hurrah for a new thread and the imminent second trimester. Really looking forward to getting this one over with as am tired of being sick and sick of being tired. DH is out tonight so I can have tea and toast for tea and go to bed at 8pm without guilt Smile.

Haven't been here for a bit and am really sorry for Cotton and Hetty's sad news. Take care and hope you're back in the ante-natal clubs very soon. xx

I'm still awake because of dps' snoring Angry I'm really at my wits end. so so tired and today I've got so much to do Sad if you see the sand man send him my way. Nothing worse than a tired hormonal woman Blush

Bubblebell I have the same problem with mine & now reduced to earplugs as he's bloody useless not terribly motivated at addressing the problem Hmm They don't totally block him out all the time (think of an Apache Helicopter) but do help...

How's everyone feeling today? I'm feeling calmer & bit more Zen now I've booked my scan. I'll be 8 wks tomorrow so hoping they'll be able to spot a little jumping bean. Keep those fingers crossed Smile

And I've also realised that traditionally isn't your fella supposed to buy an eternity ring when you have your first child? Grin There's got to be some compensation for giving up alcohol, caffeine, etc and putting your body through 9 months of rubbish & labour!! Wink I mean apart from the beautiful baby at the end!! Blush

Bubble curiosity got the better of me and according to the bicarb test I'm having a girl. However, I do now feel slightly mental for peeing on bicarb, but hey ho :o

Hope everyone is well this morning, I have the most stinking cold ever and would quite like to stay in bed instead of traipsing to the school coughing like an asthmatic pit pony, but I suppose I'd better get off my bum.

OMG......I have just sneezed and an actual bit of wee came out ShockBlush

Hetty you have my sympathies. I have had a chest and sinus infection this week and have struggled to breath at times. I took to my bed and am feeling much better today. Take care and don't push yourself. Get better soon x x x

Hubby has received many kicks and pinches over the last few weeks due to his snoring so I sympathise with those who sleep with snorers too. I have made him stop drinking and that has helped. I also have started propping him on his side with a pillow jammed into his back. That has also cut it down a bit. I am thinking of ordering him some nasal strips!

Would it be wrong to eat last nights left over stir fry for breakfast??? I think I am getting my appetite back Grin
