Due July 2011?

Just got my BFP this morning and so excited! Managed this conception while DH was out of the country so very chuffed that it worked! Already have two DS, one who is 3.2 and an August birthday and one who is 16 months and a June birthday so bring on the Summer parties!

Have never been part of an antenatal club on here before but as this is planned to be my last pregnancy am hoping to find some other July mums to share the journey with (although know I am very early!) Am already worrying how the birth will go as DS2 was born unexpectedly in the kitchen after a 90 min labour with the midwife only just there to catch him, so am a bit worried if subsequent labours are supposed to go quicker whether I will have anyone with me for this one, but at least I have a while to go yet!

Hi there,
I'm afraid I won't be joining your club but I just wanted to say a big congratulations! SOunds like you might have to get the other half ready with a baseball mitt...

Thanks TeaSleep Smile. It's looking lonely in here so far, but I guess it's early days...

Baseball mitt sounds a good idea, although tbh I would settle for this time, when the midwife asks for towels, he gets our old tatty ones and not our posh wedding ones. Thank goodness for biological washing powder Grin.

Hi, Congratulations!
I got my bfp on sat, not quite sure if im last day of June or start of July but June thread is very full already so thought I'd come here!
I have 3 dc already, dd who will be 10 next month, ds1 was 7 in August and ds2 was 3 in April (was very involved in the due/born April '07 threads and loved it but have let things slip over the last year or so).
DS2 was meant to be my last ever but I just couldnt shake the broodiness but this is definitely going to be the last one and nearly didn't happen (dp was unsure so if I wasn't pg this month I was gonna go on the pill! He's thrilled now its actually real though!) so I'm more than a little excited already!! Although not looking forward to the morning sickness starting.

Hello Girls
I got my BFP yesterday with due date of 1 July although I am sure that may changed as the midwife uses a 28 day cycle rather than my 32 day cycle!
How is everyone feeling?
My symptons so far are:
Sore boobs
Lots of wee stops
Nose bleeds
Cramping
Irritable
Do not want to see anyone/ Hybernating
Crying at nothing/ emotional

I had a misscarriage in May so keeping fingers crossed this one sticks. Feeling really positive so fingers crossed.

Hi. Not sure about due dates, but have a scan on Wednesday with the consultant. Yes, a bit odd that she is going to do it herself, but she has been my consultant for the last 2. Smile

DH and I are still in the Shock Shock Shock stage.

I collapse around 19:00 and physically cannot move, other than to shovel in the Green and Black's chocolate ice cream Grin

Don't remember being this exhausted with DD (4) and DS 2.5) . Then again wasn't chasing after a 2.5 year old (who went missing in the zoo this morning, but that's another story)

I lost DS2 in a shop yesterday too (found him toddling out of the Clarks concession of Mothercare after the longest minute of my life). Can I count that as a pregnancy symptom and then I don't need to feel like such a rubbish Mum!

Have been quite lucky with the symptoms so far, although am enjoying taking to my bed of an evening. But that seems to have increased dramatically since BFP, so not sure if now I just feel I have permission to milk it!

MyLittleBubble fingers crossed for a sticky bun for you. Hopefully with our dates we will get the 12 week scan in just before Christmas and have a lovely present Smile

Madaboutboys agree with the Christmas scan. I was hoping we could include them in Christmas cards for the grandparents.

I have had brown blood all day worried it might turn to proper bleeding. As anyone else had this much brown blood and it come to nothing?

Report
catherineps · 27/10/2010 19:41

I don't know, but I've heard that brown is OK, red is bad. Fingers crossed!

Brown blood stopped phew!!
How is everyone feeling? Have you told anyone in RL? I have only told my best friend who found out she was preg the weekend before me! Seeing a group of mummy friends tomorrow and hoping I don;t let it slip Smile

Report
MadAboutTheBoys · 28/10/2010 14:33

Glad the bleeding topped. I've also heard that brown blook is ok as it is old blood, but if it turns red you should get it checked out.

Haven't told anyone yet, but had my first GP appointment today. Can't wait to have my booking in with the midwife as she delivered DS2.

Have managed not to let slip to any Mummy friends yet, but they know I'm trying and I'm a rubbish liar so don't think it will be long! Also, now that I'm starting to get used to the pregnancy being real and can start talking about 'when' instead of 'if' I wouldn't be surprised if I let it slip. Will have ti remember too hide my pregnancy vitamin tablets before they come round for a Halloween party tomorrow!

Love the idea of a scan in the Christmas cards.

Hello,
I am due early July too (I think). emmylou30 I don't have many symptoms yet either. I was bloated for a few days but not anymore. Other than that I am tired but I am also finding it hard to fall asleep and was up bright and early this morning after only 6 hours sleep!

I have no obvious symptoms of early pregnancy, like morning sickness, but I have read that morning sickness doesn't start until 6 weeks.

Hopefully I will get some obvious symptoms soon, as it doesn't seem too real yet. I tested again this morning and the line came up almost immediately so hopefully it is all going well.

Off to the Dr now to confirm, can't quite believe POAS...and am only 8 or 9 DPO tho' so anything could happen. Fingers crossed for a sticky one....

Hi its a bit of a shock finding myself back in the antenatel clubs! I have just found out i'm pg with dc5, a very unplanned pg and I don't think it has sunk in yet. I think I am due 01/07/11. I have no symptoms and it all feels a bit unreal at the moment, we have decided to keep quiet about it at the moment until we have got our heads round things. Look forward to getting to know you all

Got my BFP on Saturday morning after a year of TTC DC2. I still can't quite believe it! We were just about to start having tests to see if anything was amiss.

According to the MN due date calculator, I'm due 8th July.

I am nervous because it's such early days, but I can't help smiling! Congratulations to you all!

My first post on a mumsnet forum... Congrats to all those who are expecting summer babies.

I found out I was pregnant this morning. AF five days late, unheard of for me, my periods are like clockwork so went to get pg test.

I have two boys, four and two years (also had one miscarriage between them).

We weren't planning a third, and had been practicing "natural family planning" for the last six months or so. Well, it's an experiment gone wrong, my cycle is v regular and we used condoms at all the right times, I still can't figure how this baby might have been conceived.

Of course if all goes well, we will love it madly and not be able to imagine life without baby...

But right now I am feeling so bewildered. The shock of being pregnant unexpectedly. Our house is a small two-bed. Our car is too small for three carseats. We are struggling to get by financially as it is, I really needed to be looking for part-time work soon and a baby puts that off for another couple of years. Starting the whole baby routine again, just as we had reached a stage where we had, oh, an hour or two to ourselves in the evening (we are rubbish at getting our babies to bed at normal hours).

Haven't even told DH yet, don't know how to break it to him tonight.

Anyone else mildly happy and mightily scared?
