Memoos 'sumo baby' is finally here
(10 Posts)All 7lb's of her!!
I was induced at 38 weeks due to GD and docs thinking the baby was going to be huge.
The whole thing turned into a bit of a nightmare and after 3 lots of prostin, arm and 12 hours of a syntocin drip I ended up in theatre having an emergency CS.
Baby Eve was finally born on 16th september at 6:02 am weighing 7lb exactly.
She is absoulutly perfect and I am head over heels in love with her.
I'm getting there slowly, still very weak despite 2 blood transfusions but being very well looked after by my wonderful DH
Congratulations memoo! Sorry the birth was a bit of a nightmare for you, but hopefully the memory will fade away as you enjoy your little girl
Many congratulations. What a lovely name
I take it some arsehole consultant advised you were going to have a sumo baby? 7lb is a long way off a macrosemic baby.
I hope you feel better soon, it sounds like your dh is doing a grand job
Congratulations!
thanks guys, I'm enjoying every second of it so far.
Quickstep, you're right, consultant told me the babb was about 10lbs already and i shouldn't let her get any bigger as i would stuggle to give birth.
Memoo sorry Eve birth was so traumatic and that consultant was so wrong
but great news she is fine and your getting there!!
Hope you're recovered soon & many congrats
Congratulations! Lovely name! Hope you are recovering well.
Congratulations Memoo
Congratulations Memoo.
Those size guesstimates really are crappy, but at least Eve is here and is well. Hope you're recovering ok.
