just a quickie - i was popped on wed. am. e/c/s. dd born 10.31 am weighed 7lb 3. came out yeling place down. desparate for food! bottle feeding well. good as gold. name holly. just come home this afternoon. bit tender and sore but not too bad. op seemed worse this time round. took them ages to put spinal block in. ouch. ds not keen on her yet. makes me feel emotional again. anyway, all's well. got few appts. for her coming up - certain scans and checks. tired now. shes ready for feed then hopefully i can get decent nights sleep.

thanks everyone.
i'm much better and more mobile toaday.
dd doing well. although last night was trial and error - fed at 9.15 and stayed awake, unsettled and cried until 12.30 when we gave her another feed, then slept thru til 7am!
ds has been bit better today. tolerated being in the same room as her, and with me reading stories together. and gave her 2 brief kisses on hand.
sorry to go on. not sure if i'm supposed to say all this here but thats it for now.

thanks again.

Huge congratulations - I'm sure your ds will come round to the idea. I think it may be better if they're resentful right at the start - you're less likely to face an unexpected backlash after several months!

Enjoy getting to know little Holly.
