Baby not due until 22nd Jan, Riley John born today 01.20am. Big shock as Dd was 11 days late, and they say boys are lazy! Also same dad so no reason as why this one was 10 days early - mix up with dates maybe. Easy birth of just 4hours start to finish - no time even for an epidural and I was looking forward to having one again! 9lb exactly same as sister!!! He's gorgeous only I don't know what you do with BITS! Not an aquarian, but dh is capricorn so some experience with them! Shattered now got home not long ago. Babes sleeping, dd over nans - me bath and bed!!!

Congratulations! Point the 'bits' down when you do his nappy or you might get wee where you didn't expect it!

Congratulations and well done!
Hard to believe that only 4 hours of labour, Riley weighed 9lb (ooh makes me want to cross my legs!) and you are home and posting already.
I am so glad for you and your family and I hope you enjoy your bath and have a good rest, as I am sure you must be exhausted.
Welcome Riley John, and big >

Brilliant news - the only predictable things about babies is their unpredictability!! Congratulations.

Hi, thanks! Last posting from me for a while - people will want to visit. Dh ia feeding babes, wanted to post when i got home as I wanted to tell people my news, Dh rang all the freinds and family. Started getting twinges about 4.30 yesterday but ignored them. felt really tired so had a lay down when DH came home around 5.45. Woke up with a wet bed at 7ish. Rushed round to pack bag and get Grace to her nans and to hospital. Riley appeared at 01.18am. Grace took 11 hours but was induced so they apparently take longer however still good for the first one! Hear all these stories of long painful 36hour labours. Still can not believe it it's like a dream. Grace was 9lb, so glad Riley wasn't bigger. You hear that 2nd will be bigger. I'm rambling now so gonna go and spend some time with dh, Riley and Grace who'll be here soon to meet him!

Many congratulations hippi and welcome to Riley John. Don't be afraid to use sudocrem to cement those bits in place for nappy changes!
