My cousin s son and his partner have had a baby boy

i posted a while ago about my cousin's son and his partner who were expecting their first child. They were told at teh scan that the baby had Edwards Syndrome and they had teh weekend to think about what they wanted to do luckily they had a further scan at a different venue and it transpired tjhaty baby only had a cleft palatte. Anyway Alfie was born yestyerday weighing in at 9lb 6oz and is feeding well

So glad he is here and well we were also told that our ds2 possibly had edwards syndrome at the 20 week scan. It turn out to be isolated bilateral talipes (2 clubbed feet) Good luck to baby and family knowing that a condition can be treated really is a massive relieve in it's self but I wish Alfie strength for his future treatments
