Not sure if I've put this under the right topic but does anyone have any tips for the first time after a natural vaginal birth?

How long did you wait? Did it hurt? I'm fully healed now but just too chicken! Feel like I did about the first poo! 🤦🏻‍♀️

8 weeks after ds1 with episiotomy and 10 weeks after ds2 with complicated 2nd degree tear. Was petrified with both but more so second time around as tear was all over the place and episiotomy was one cut IYSWIM.
Both times much better than I imagined in terms of pain, twinges etc but definitely need to relax which is easier said than done.

It was about 5 months for us but I was ready sooner just a mix of tiredness and DH work
I had episiotomy and forceps was quite worried but we took it slow and made sure there was lots of lube 😉 and it was all good

I'm now wondering if it's too soon, I'm 4 weeks postpartum. Luckily no tears though just a graze.

After my CS was about 3 or 4weeks. After vaginal birth with a 3B tear was about 6’months I think. I was terrified

I had a second degree tear and a graze but healed really quickly I waited 4 weeks and everything was fine just like my first wee and my first poo you build it up to be something rotten!

I had a second degree tear and waited until ds was 11 weeks old. It was fine, not painful or anything. Everyone is different though

I don’t know how long I waited but it was well past the newborn stage. I’m
glad I waited though and let everything properly heal . It did not hurt at all and was enjoyable . It didn’t feel much different from before .
