How can i make it more special

My husband and i are going to start trying for our third child soon, but we want to make this one different.
My first pregnancy was ruined by a so called friend who decided to tell everyone before we could. My second one we had to tell everyone early because my morning sickness was starting to become an hint.
We want this to be different, i actually want my 12 week scan first before i tell close family, but i also want to do it as a gift. E.g. open a box up and there will be baby clothes and underneath a scan picture.
My question is, is how do i go to my 8 week midwife appointment and have my scan without family knowing, because they'll be watching both my kids while i go. What can i tell them instead. Both my sons can't keep their mouth shut haha
Also would love to know how everyone else announced it 😊

Hey. Would you children be in school whilst you went for the scan or not? How old are they because you wouldn't have to tel the children until you wanted to as they probably wouldn't understand why mummy was being sick they might just think you are ill?
And I have 2 daughters and I announced my first daughter Heidi by telling everyone however I want Dolly's announcement to be special so what happend was we where having a family meal with ALL the family and when I had my 12 week scan I had a big box on the table and said it was a present for my mum and dad and they opened it then all balloons came out saying 'your going to be a grandad' 'your going to be a nan' and they where pink and blue and I had a balloon specially made with dolly's scan on it💖 it was such a beautiful moment xxx
