Sorry this is a little late have started and failed to finish this posts losts of times over the last few days!

Millie Rose was born on the 14th of February.
Waters broke the day before but just trickled all day, but nothing else happening. Labour suite asked me to go in to have this confirmed which I did and they did. An induction was booked for the Friday if nothing else had happened.

That evening fekt restless and uncomfortable but thought this may just be the fact that waters had broken and realisation had set in!
went to bed with aches and niggles at 2.00 am woke with regular pains, laid and rested as well as getting up and fidgetting a lot! until 4am when I realised they really were quite regular and strong and had a real pattern to them. woke up DH and told him who held my hand and timed them, an hour later deciding we had better time them properly and we werent going to be getting anymore sleep we got up.
after three phone calls to the hospital we got there at 12 pm. me very calm and collected, midwife examined me and said I was a good 4 cms and my cervix was very thin. Was given Gas and Air to which I think DH has a life time of black mail material from that will last a life time!
time went really fast and after a few hours and a shot of diamorphine, our little Millie was born at 4.55pm weighing 5llb 9oz.
And really wasnt a bad experience at all! Had to stay on the ward for the night but was home by 3pm the next day and havent stopped since!

She's doing fantastic and we're so loved up! She was weighed today and now weighs 6llb so is coming along brilliantly! (neithers the washing machine!)

Sorry for the long post!
Take care

MrsJ
