Rex is here! Zipper re-opened!!

Rex Peter was born on Thursday 29th April by caesarean section (again) rather a bit earlier than planned! He weighed 6lb 6oz, 54cm long and is totally gorgeous! He is so tiny, all the others were whoppers! He has big navy blue eyes that look like they will be brown very soon, and tufty blackish brown hair! I can't stop kissing him, and sniffing that wonderful new baby smell!

WOW! Thank-you everyone for your lovely messages!
I am feeling great, much better than last time (thought the pain-killers help hugely, no doubt!). I have a nice squidgy jelly-belly, very womanly - or so I tell myself!!
My total now is six! They are all great, and Rex has settled in just fine. Tomorrow he has his heel-prick test (I hate that bit) and is to be weighed. I did a lot of showing him off today at the school run, which was great. I didn't even manage to get through the school gates before the deluge of other mums wanting to have a peek! I am very, very proud!
